Canada #1395a. VF used imperforate pair of the 1992 issue 43c olive green Flag coil printed on plain paper. While not valued in the catalogue as used, it is safe to say used examples are just as uncommon (if not more) than their mint counterparts. 2024 Unitrade = $200.00

161
Canada #1441, 1442. Very Fine mint Never Hinged group of 20 full panes of 20 of the 1992 "Canada in Space" 42c hologram issue, all packaged and sold by Kasimir Bileski (over 30 years ago!). Bileski, always the promoter of errors and varieties, purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of these novel hologram sheets directly from Canada Post, scouring the panes for marketable varieties. He ended up finding missing holograms, mis-cut holograms, "black holes" and more before he was finished with his search. Although none of those appear to be here, the write-ups with these panes suggest some minor variety interest. We couldn't really see anything of particular note, but we are not Bileski. The panes are conservatively valued at face but should be worth more, just for the provenance! Total Face value = $168.00
History

162
Canada #1695a. VF mint Never Hinged imperforate pair of the 1998 issue 46c red Flag coil. This is the last value of the flag coil series. An always popular modern variety. 2024 Unitrade = $225.00

Two booklets are perfect for display purposes (front and back). Estimate = $100.00

Canada #3260ii. Uncut Press Sheet. After 2 full cycles of 12 Lunar New Year issues from 1997 to 2020, Canada Post recapped the second series in January 2021 by reissuing the previous 12 designs in 3 formats: a self-adhesive booklet, a gummed pane of 12 and an uncut press sheet of 12 souvenir sheets. Released while the COVID pandemic was in full swing this issue was highly sought-after and sold out within a couple of weeks, with the press sheets soon being resold online for hundreds of dollars. There are 2 sheet types with either "8:51:46 AM" timing printed at the bottom of the sheet or "3:53:18 PM" timing with a squiggly line flaw on the Monkey stamp; the AM sheet offered here without the "squiggle" is much scarcer. Canada #F1. Shades, Papers, Perfs, Postmarks. Neatly laid out selection of 235 used examples of the 1875 to 1888 issue 2c Registration stamp, completely unchecked for shades, postmarks, papers, perfs or plate varieties. Note shades ranging from light orange to deep rose carmine. As the Registration stamps were issued during the same period as the later Large Queen and Small Queen issues, the papers, inks and perforating machinery, they have an interesting commonality that is appreciated by the collectors of early Canada. Of particular interest are the wide range and variety of fancy cork and other postmarks. Many are identifiable and a worthy study all on their own. All the stamps in this lot have been valued as the basic #F1 as per Scott catalogue. A great research lot! 2024 Scott US$874.50 = $1,410.00

198
Canada - An older 40-page (unusual in itself) stockbook with a wild ride of 100 years of Canada stamps. In order of appearance, we noted mint GeoVI sets with "OHMS" (including O9, hinged, minor thin) and "G" overprints (includes O25). This first page alone catalogues about $500.00. Next up is some Thomas McGee issues (no gum) and a number of 1935 Silver Jubilee mint sets (hinged). This accumulation gives way to several pages of more common mint issues from the 1940’s-1980’s, before returning to a couple of pages of QV-GeoV singles and a few "back of the book" blocks (all mint, Hinged). Next is some GeoVI-era material including coils, a few plate blocks followed by some special delivery and postage dues (followed by more modern mint material). The material then jumps back to GeoV, this time mint and used, and then finally reverts one final time to the "back of the book" with more special delivery and official material. We should also note there are two pages of "revenue" and used "back of the book" that finishes off this exhausting listing. Estimate = $200.00

Canada #29/294 plus Back of the Book. Used accumulation on seven stocksheets, going back to the 15c Large Queen. We noted two each of the Widow Weeds, a few Jubilees (including a lovely Calgary 1897 territorial split ring), a full page of QV Leaf issues up to 10c and 1908 Tercentenary up to 10c. The lot continues with a range of definitives, commemoratives up to early QEII period, with matching coverage of "back of the book" issues. Some notable individual items include an 8c Registration (F3), a Bluenose, a pane of the 3c Medallion and large plate block of the 20c Fort Garry. The material includes a wide range of condition, some with minor to significant faults. The lot concludes with a page with 4-hole OHMS perfins (and a couple of 5-hole). Take a close look at the perfins, as there are copies of C1 and CE1 with 4-hole perfin, both not listed in Scott, so dubious at best. As a result, we are not counting the page of perfins.
