One hundred and seventy-seven mint and used stamps, running from 1852 up to 1931 (the start of the Republic). The consignor considers this to be an exceptional lot, with most items being hand-picked for soundness and appearance, supposedly much superior to more usual offerings. Early mint stamps are #56 (no gum), 242, 255, 257 and 274 (2). There are many excellent examples of colour variation throughout. All neatly laid out on three Hagner brand stocksheets.
