From the deepest darkest depths of Unitrade comes this box lot of obscure presentation packs, commemorative covers, folders, postcard booklets and even postal stationery. From bottom to top, we noted Hockey commemorative stamps sealed in cards, stickers from Singapore ‘95/Capex ’96, China/Canada/Hong Kong Lunar year sets (Rabbit x2), Calgary Olympics pack (2 types), WWII 1944 pack, Folktales set FDC folder, historic hotels post card set, 1994 Commonwealth Games pack and postcard set. There is an Inuit presentation booklet, a handful of year folders from the 1960’s – early 1970’s (bit of duplication). There are first day cover packs from the historical vehicles and the 1993 Parks set. The last handful includes some small early 80’s presentation folders, with flowers, animals, planes, trains, lighthouses, Papal visit. More modern packs include 2011 Royal wedding, Winnie the Pooh, Eaton’s, and the NHL 75th birthday (between 2 and 6 of each of these). The face value of the mint NH stamps alone is $149.00. Most of this material was often overlooked by collectors and generally isn’t carried by dealers, but once it gets listed in Unitrade, people go looking for it, and then realize how difficult to find some of these items are.
