French Colonies

Representing a wide range of colonies, with a distinct lack of colonial organization. This lot has a very old 32-page stockbook half filled with about 1000 stamps from every corner of the French empire, followed by a second mounted collection that has a scattering of similar issues. There is a lots of French Guiana, both mint and used and with "Inini" overprints, couple of pages of Reunion and a page of Guadeloupe with potential. The African material includes Morocco, Algeria, Diego-Suarez and Niger (page of imperforate singles). There is a page with most of the "Curie" common design issue in strips of three (alas, without any gum). Some of the material is a bit post-colonial including 12 different "deluxe plate proofs". The final section of a consignment, but not your usual consignment remnant lot. Estimate =
