Captain Cook topical collection in three cover albums with a couple hundred postcards and covers most related to the 200th anniversary of his major travels through the Pacific. Almost everything in his life is commemorated, including birthplace, his ship the "Endeavour", navigation equipment, statues & monuments, paintings and pictures of places he might have landed or seen and people he might have met and museums. Not surprisingly the majority of the material is from the countries closely identified with his travels (Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Canada). Overall condition is excellent, including the albums. Lots of work went into building this collection. Estimate =
