Worldwide Mourning Covers

France. An enticing mourning cover collection of 70 covers. Starting with an 1847 stampless folded letter from Toulouse to Ireland with a subtle black edge. Includes a few 1870's covers, followed by some "Peace and Commerce" and "Sower" issues, including a wide range of cover sizes, and styles of the black bands that define these covers. Noted a couple of military free franks from WWI. Most are domestic usages, but there is a 1906 usage to Egypt and three 1920’s free mail covers from French Morocco back to France. Expect some faults, but overall condition is better than expected for these decidedly non-philatelic covers. Estimate =
