Pair of Scott Specialty binders with pages to 1986. A good start with lots of 19th century issues, both mint and used, with owner identified different printings, shades, perforations and cancels. Into the 20th century, besides good coverage there is the occasional nice multiple or duplicate with character (used block of 9 of #108b - catalogues $54.00). Gets a bit quiet between 1923-1943, but noted occasional better like Baku #519-523 and Mendelev #536-539 sets used. Very complete from the 1950’s, onwards with mostly used or CTO but the occasional mint set here and there. Souvenir sheets start to appear in 1974, but ssues between 1979-1984 appear to have been removed, but then the collection finishes strong for the last 3 years. There is undoubtedly hidden gems throughout. While the binders are in need of replacing, there are over 3000 different stamps here. Estimate =
