Newfoundland #C2, C2a, C2b, C2ii VF mint "four type" combination block of four of the 1919 Alcock and Brown "Trans-Atlantic AIR POST 1919 ONE DOLLAR" airmail overprint. The block consists of #C2b at upper left (without period after 1919, VF H, 400 printed); #C2 at upper right (comma after POST, VFH 6,000 printed); #C2a at lower left (no comma after POST, VF NH 2,800 printed) and #C2ii (small comma after POST, VF NH, 400 printed). Conservatively valued as 4 singles with no premium added for 4 different varieties in a block (as you see with #C3 and varieties).
