Abu Dhabi #1-11, 15-25. Complete mint Never Hinged examples of the first set, issued in 1964, plus the same set surcharged, issued in 1966. Two pristine condition sets from this Persian Gulf nation that proclaimed independence in 1971 (now part of UAE). Only 83 stamps in total were issued under Abu Dhabi proper. 2024 Scott US$367.50 = $496.15 $70.00
Andorra #23/63, 64. F/VF mint Hinged / Hinge-Remnant group of 42 values (plus the OVPT) of the 1932-1943 Pictorial series. A few faults noted, mostly being gum irregularities and one small thin on the 40c brown value. That being said, this is a great head-start on a tough set to assemble, with the stamps being issued over a 11 year period. 2023 Scott US$621.30 = $838.75 $60.00
Australia #95a. Fresh mint Never Hinged condition pane of 4 of the 3p deep blue Kookaburra issued at the Melbourne International Philatelic Exhibition in 1928. Full intact margins and perforations all around with a wide straight-edged selvedge at bottom. 2021 Scott US$260.00 = $351.00 $85.00
Australia #O1-O2. Fresh and VF mint OG mint Never Hinged OS (On Service) overprinted 1931 issue 2d dull red and 3d blue Kingsford Smith commemorative official issues. The Scott catalogue value is for Hinged. A premium quality duo! 2023 Scott Classic US$285.00 = $384.75 $110.00
Australia - Collection / Stock / Hoard in 3 stockbooks. A collector's assembly of both mint and used, from "Roos" to the early 2000's arranged within 2x 32-page stockbooks (Lighthouse and Unisafe), plus a 3rd smaller size 16-page stockbook. Many thousands of stamps, including better items lurking throughout. Very conservatively valued for the usable mint postage only. Total face value AUD$395.62 in CDN funds = $350.25 $160.00
Australia - Dealer's stock of mint material, GeoVI to QEII arranged on stockpages. Roughly 750 stamps, with a mix of both Hinged and Never Hinged material (more Hinged in the "older", Never Hinged in the "newer"). The consignor's conservative catalogue value is US$450.00 by Scott catalogue. Estimate = $120.00 $26.00
Australia - Duo of Davo albums with matching slipcases, includes decimal-era pages covering 1966 to 1993, including Australian Antarctic Territory (but almost no AAT stamps). The first album has a couple hundred used stamps and the second album starts in 1984 and has a good run of mint stamps in owner-added black mounts (mounts being hinged in, so could be removed). The face value of the mint alone is AUD$121.05 = CDN$107.73. The albums have Australian coat of arms on the cover and "II" and "III" on the spine. We should note that the albums are in near new condition and would originally retail for almost $400.00. Estimate = $180.00 $85.00
Australia - Multi-part estate remainder lot in a file box. Starts with a 1979-series Stanley Gibbons padded album with pages to 1986, including a number of "Roos" and GeoV "Heads" followed by a few hundred stamps up until the mid-1970’s. At some distant point, this collection was catalogued at US$958.00 (which is probably high by today’s standards). Next is a pair of boxes, filled with mostly 1970’s used packet stock, but also saw a couple dozen bundles of KGV "Heads". There is a collection of seven 1988 Bicentennial booklets in slipcase, six manila stockpages crammed with decimal-era "State" revenue stamps, a bag with a few complete booklets back to the 1960’s and a couple of presentation packs (including Christmas 1971). Finally, there are three retired RPSC approval booklets (with some early, and some Cocos Islands), with about $125.00 retail remaining (based on 2012 Scott). Great research potential. Estimate = $180.00 $55.00
Australia - Respectfully sized hoard of new issues from 1980-2008, most in their original Post Office packaging or presentation cards. Includes 1981, 1993 and 2008 year-sets (with a bit of minor cover damage, but the stamps are in great shape). Overall condition is excellent, but a few of the packages or sleeves have minor damage or writing on them. Total face value of the Australian issues is AUD$293.47, plus there is an additional face value of AUD$22.30 from Cocos (Keeling) and Christmas Islands, which are valid for postage in Australia. Conservatively valued for the total face value of the usable postage only. Total face value AUD$315.77 = $281.04 $160.00
Australia - Specialty offering of 213 used, from early issues up to 1940, includes 93 with "SON" (socked on the nose) CDS postmarks, 20 "OS" perfins, 28 State "OS" perfins, 31 State "SON" CDS cancels, and 41 State numeral cancels. Some better items ID'ed on the scans, but there may be other hidden goodies throughout. A few small faults noted, but an enticing offering. Estimate = $150.00 $85.00
Australian States - Mounted assortment on 22-ring Lindner quadrilled pages. Strongest is New South Wales, with some Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania. Mostly used, with the usual mixed condition from this era. Some better stamps and better cancels, with items that are already identified by Scott to make it easier to process. This was catalogued some time ago, but a quick check indicates that the numbers are still representative of current pricing. Owner’s total Scott catalogue (year unknown) US$666.70 = $900.06 $110.00
Austria #3/2052 plus Back of the Book. Three-part collection builder. Starts with an over-height springback album, with a wide range of mostly pre-1920 issues. Moves to a pair of approval booklets that were in the process of being prepared, but never finished (mostly 1950-1990). Finally, there is a 64-page unbranded stockbook with white pages and a light blue cover, with thousands of stamps (the regular issues are a bit sparse pre-1950). Includes a number of blocks, sheetlets or souvenir sheets postally used, up to 2006, along with a range of newer mint souvenir sheets. Lots of back of the book and cancel potential throughout. Estimate = $150.00 $40.00
Austria #B100-B105, B112-B117. Duo of 1932 / 1933 semi postal complete mint Hinged / Hinge Remnant sets. The first set is the 1932 series, sold at double the face value, with surtax to assist various charitable organizations. The second set is the 1933 series, issued to mark the 250th anniversary of "Deliverance of Vienna from the Turks" with surtax to aid Catholic works of charity. 2023 Scott US$264.00 = $356.40 $65.00
Austria Office Abroad - Crete #1-5. VF used selection of the first five issues 1903-1904, the first four values on Granite Paper with "Varnish Bars" and the 1fr on 1k carmine rose on Granite Paper without "Varnish Bars". Seldom offered material. 2023 Scott US$232.00 = $313.20 $55.00
Bahamas #306a/902, B3. A mostly mint, hodgepodge of modern Bahamas, including 177 stamps and 54 souvenir sheets issued between 1970-1998, on a mix of White Ace, quadrilled and Vario-brand stockpages. Pages are not complete, nor consecutive, so this is good for filling in holes or to build a stock. By the time the 1980’s rolled around, collectors backed off purchasing "new issues", at the same time print quantities dropped and issues became more topically focused. This has subsequently led to demand for a very small stock, and prices have risen accordingly. Topical interests include birds, shells, Christmas, Royalty, Sealife, ships, planes, etc. The mint appears to be all never hinged. 2023 Scott US$749.05 = $1,011.22 $230.00
Belgium #60-75. Complete mint Lightly Hinged (perhaps some NH) set of the 1893-1900 "Coat of Arms" / "King Leopold" issue. Most stamps are Very Lightly Hinged, with a few likely Never Hinged (but with a couple natural gum bends, so conservatively valued as Hinged). The Scott catalogue offers huge premiums for any NH material, or well-centered examples, so there is plenty of upside for this lot valued at the lowest possible catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$610.40 = $824.05 $110.00
Belgium #B179 Variety. Mint Never Hinged 1936 issue 2.45fr+55c grey blue "Charleroi" semi-postal souvenir sheet. Without the cancellation-like postmark in the margin that are on most sheets. Light bend in margin noted for the record. Valued as the more common regular "postmarked" sheet but worth a premium. 2024 Scott US$175.00 = $236.25 $32.00
Belgium - An attractive 60-page Dutch stockbook houses an extensive and consistent used (with a bit of mint) collection from the earliest issues up until 2006. Bonus material includes a retired RPSC circuit book and several black stockpages (lots of "back of the book") with an owner’s (2012) Scott catalogue value of US$400.00. Estimate = $170.00 $130.00

The stamp is tied with a neatly struck "PAID" postmark, additionally manuscript cancelled with two very light parallel pen lines. This "transitional" pence/cents period was very short and the paucity of properly franked covers reflects this fact. 2024 Scott Classic for #12 on Cover US$1,400.00 = $1,890.00 $450.00

Expect some faults but note some very scarce postmarks here. 2024 Scott US$1,687.50 = $2,278.15 $775.00
Canada #15/ Modern Collection. All used collection packed into one banker's box. Several thousand stamps in total, both regular and "Back of the Book" issues. The more recent issues (up to 2020) are pretty sparse so the collection has only been valued up to 1960, with all the valued stamps in one volume. The bulk of the catalogue value is in the 1870s to 1940s period (Queen Victoria Small Queens up through GeoVI Peace issues, plus some "Back of the Book"). While the condition is a bit mixed (expect some faults) this lot still offers a good start to a used Canadian collection. 2024 Scott US$2,601.15 = $3,511.55 $200.00
Canada #15v MAJOR RE-ENTRY. Very Fine appearing used example of the 5c vermilion Beaver 1859 First Cents issue showing the major re-entry from position 28 (plate states 10 or 11). Almost all are different, including different plate numbers and different corners. Unchecked for paper types and counted as lowest catalogue value, with no premium for Never Hinged material (so plenty of upside). 2024 Unitrade = $1,180.90 $250.00

Canada #519-528 IDENTICAL PAIRS. Mint Never Hinged Motherlode of horizontal and vertical IDENTICAL PAIRS of the 1970 issue 5c and 6c Christmas stamps. Due to the odd geometric se-tenant layout of the Christmas issue sheets of 100, numerous combinations including strips, pairs and blocks could be potentially formed. The scarcest multiple is the identical center block of four but vertical and horizontal pairs are also scarce. This lot includes multiple examples of identical vertical and horizontal pairs including the key 5c "Children Skiing" and 6c "Children and Christmas Tree". All laid out on six stock sheets. Mostly regular issues, some Winnipeg Tagged types were also noted in the mix. A hard group to assemble, dealers rarely have any stock of these Unitrade and Darnell catalogue listed varieties. Estimate = $150.00 $60.00
Canada #522i, 525i 522pi, 525pi. VF MNH identical centre blocks of four of the 5c and 6c 1970 Christmas issue, both regular and with Winnipeg tagging. Scarce Very Fine mint Never Hinged "field stock" corner block of 9 of the 1974 issue 8c Pacific Coast Indians (with blank corners, as always found), showing the "missing bird on the totem" error at position 28 (the lower left stamp in the block). The latter of the two comes with a 1977 Greene certificate which states (in part) "No. 604 - pair imperforate between - on piece- ..slight vertical tear at top margin". Even with the slight tear, in-period usage of any imperforate issue seldom seen. 2024 Unitrade = $400.00 $210.00

Also included (but not counted in the catalogue value) are a pair of collector made FDC, featuring hibrite paper examples of the 8c value. Conservatively valued as 25 singles, which a sheet (including corners) should be worth a premium. 2024 Unitrade = $195.00 $30.00
Canada #639a/743. Long box containing a sometimes heavily duplicated wide-ranging stock of over 1,500 mint plate blocks, 1974 to 1977 QEII period issues. 154 Canada #937ii. Very Fine mint Never Hinged matched set of the rare 1985 plate #3 printing on Harrison paper of the $5.00 Point Pelee high value. Not many examples of this plate number were purchased at the time and far fewer exist today! 2024 Unitrade = $360.00 $250.00

Canada #1441, 1442. Very Fine mint Never Hinged group of 20 full panes of 20 of the 1992 "Canada in Space" 42c hologram issue, all packaged and sold by Kasimir Bileski (over 30 years ago!). Bileski, always the promoter of errors and varieties, purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of these novel hologram sheets directly from Canada Post, scouring the panes for marketable varieties. He ended up finding missing holograms, mis-cut holograms, "black holes" and more before he was finished with his search. Although none of those appear to be here, the write-ups with these panes suggest some minor variety interest. We couldn't really see anything of particular note, but we are not Bileski. The panes are conservatively valued at face but should be worth more, just for the provenance! Total Face value = $168.00 $160.00
Canada #1695a. VF mint Never Hinged imperforate pair of the 1998 issue 46c red Flag coil. This is the last value of the flag coil series. An always popular modern variety. 2024 Unitrade = $225.00 $170.00

While recognized and reviewed in numerous philatelic journals, Unitrade has yet to create an individual listing for this stamp, so we have used the Unitrade catalogue number for the frame design as our stamp reference. Two booklets are perfect for display purposes (front and back). Estimate = $100.00 $95.00
Canada #2710b. MAJOR Printing Error. A VF mint single of the 2014 "Baby Wildlife" $1.00 "Burrowing Owl" definitive, with the Unitrade listed "missing yellow inscription Canada 100". 168 Canada #3098ii. Uncut Press Sheet of the 2018 Queen Elizabeth II 85th Anniversary of Coronation issue. The sheet features 12 booklet panes of 10 "P" value stamps depicting the original 1951 portrait by renowned photographer Yousuf Karsh. Released while the COVID pandemic was in full swing this issue was highly sought-after and sold out within a couple of weeks, with the press sheets soon being resold online for hundreds of dollars. There are 2 sheet types with either "8:51:46 AM" timing printed at the bottom of the sheet or "3:53:18 PM" timing with a squiggly line flaw on the Monkey stamp; the AM sheet offered here without the "squiggle" is much scarcer. Neatly laid out selection of 235 used examples of the 1875 to 1888 issue 2c Registration stamp, completely unchecked for shades, postmarks, papers, perfs or plate varieties. Note shades ranging from light orange to deep rose carmine. As the Registration stamps were issued during the same period as the later Large Queen and Small Queen issues, the papers, inks and perforating machinery, they have an interesting commonality that is appreciated by the collectors of early Canada. Of particular interest are the wide range and variety of fancy cork and other postmarks. Many are identifiable and a worthy study all on their own. All the stamps in this lot have been valued as the basic #F1 as per Scott catalogue. A great research lot! 2024 Scott US$874.50 = $1,410.00 $260.00

Canada - An older 40-page (unusual in itself) stockbook with a wild ride of 100 years of Canada stamps. In order of appearance, we noted mint GeoVI sets with "OHMS" (including O9, hinged, minor thin) and "G" overprints (includes O25). This first page alone catalogues about $500.00. Next up is some Thomas McGee issues (no gum) and a number of 1935 Silver Jubilee mint sets (hinged). This accumulation gives way to several pages of more common mint issues from the 1940’s-1980’s, before returning to a couple of pages of QV-GeoV singles and a few "back of the book" blocks (all mint, Hinged). Next is some GeoVI-era material including coils, a few plate blocks followed by some special delivery and postage dues (followed by more modern mint material). The material then jumps back to GeoV, this time mint and used, and then finally reverts one final time to the "back of the book" with more special delivery and official material. We should also note there are two pages of "revenue" and used "back of the book" that finishes off this exhausting listing. Estimate = $200.00 $95.00

Noted a large volume of quality material throughout, with an impressive number of Very Fine and CDS stamps in the mix. Some issues, particularly the Admirals, have been collected here for the wide range of shades, dies, papers and other varieties that exist. A perfect lot for the quality conscious collector of used Canada. Estimate = $450.00 $170.00
Canada - Duo of apple boxes, in-turn filled with mandarin orange boxes stuffed with used stamps sorted by denomination and type into envelopes. The balance of the boxes consists of loose and assorted album and stock pages from a variety of sources. The owner indicates that there could be 58,000 stamps here. We didn’t verify this count, but there are certainly a lot. Accumulated over the years by the collector, seemingly unchecked for postmarks or small varieties. Estimate = $200.00 $130.00

There is a mint 50c Victoria, a 5c Scroll booklet pane (bit off centre and a bit of gum damage on the tab from when it was in the booklet – but Unitrade $200.00 as a pane). We noted a 7c Admiral, some Silver Jubilees and a mess of War issue plate blocks and coils. There is a bit of official overprinting, and lots of 1950’s-60’s era plate blocks. Book is about half full, so there is room for expansion. Mint items range from heavily hinged to never hinged. A few that have no gum were mounted upside-down for transparency. Estimate = $180.00 $55.00
Canada - Eclectic collection Part 3. Small mint collection arranged within a Black cover, 64-white page Lighthouse stockbook (retail $80.00). This is followed by 15 pages of mint blocks circa 1948-1971. The value returns mid-album with 20 mint copies each of the 5c Laurier #144, and 5c McGee #146. There is a mint 1c Medallion booklet pane followed by the Mufti issue which includes 3 used booklet panes and some mint and used coils. There is a mint, Never Hinged War issue, supplemented by a couple of used booklet panes and some more coils. There are a few QEII used booklet panes and a dozen 3c Small Queens (attractive front, but with gum issues). Finishes with two copies each of the 45c RCMP souvenir sheets (8 sheets in total) and two pages of heavy duplicated French airmail stamps (why not, of course). What a rambling ride! Looks to range from the 1970's to 2019 including "Far and Wide" 2019, Joe Fafard, UNESCO, "Rush", Lunar New Years (including the high-value "transition" sheets), $10.00 Whale / $5.00 Moose panes, Chinatown Gates, CFL, Titanic, "Will and Kate", Start Trek, Art Deco and Beneficial Insects (to name a few). A total of 159 sheets / panes, with many far scarcer to find than their unused counterparts. Estimate = $250.00 $210.00
Canada - Mostly 21st Century Goldmine Used Collection. Unusually comprehensive and innovatively mounted 1997 to 2008 period collection of stamps, souvenir sheets and panes, all housed in two 3-ring binders. A top quality offering, with the vast majority of the Very Fine quality sets of stamps, sheets and panes with carefully applied CDS postmarks, many with either "Sock on the Nose" cancels or light "design clear" corner postmarks. Very evidently a labour of love from a very demanding collector. Take a good look at the scans to appreciate both the quality of the material and the patient effort that went into assembling this organized offering of scarce modern material. Estimate = $300.00 $180.00
Canada - Non-traditional "back of the book" hoard, comprising of souvenir articles prepared by Canada Post and offered to collectors, which have been gaining steam over the past few years as they are mostly listed (and mostly priced) now in the back of the Unitrade catalogue. 236 Canada - Official "starter pack" accumulation on over 6 pages included mint and used material. We noted "OHMS" / "G" overprints, along with both Type A and Type B "OHMS" perfins. Lightly duplicated, but a nice group to keep what you need and then sell the rest. Expect the mint to be Hinged, but we did note some NH material as well. Estimate = $150.00 $28.00
Canada - Quarterly Pack Bonanza. An all-different assortment of 15 Quarterly Packs, ranging from the 1st quarter of 2003 to the 4th quarter of 2015. These packages represent the easiest way to assemble a mint offering from these periods, with a "one of each" format including the self-adhesive stamps in "die cut" format. The total face value in many of these has increased over the issue price, as the permanent ("P") stamps have seen a rise in postal value. Now that these are listed in the back of the Unitrade catalogue, collectors have had an increased interest in acquiring them for the sake of completion. Conservatively valued for the total original issue price (which is lower than the actual postage inside with the increase in "P" stamp value). Total original issue price = $208.28 $140.00

All still sealed and with all of the issues including many sought-after die cut singles as well as blocks and souvenir sheets. These are now listed in Unitrade but not yet priced, conservatively valued only at the issue price at the time (which has not changed, since the last "P" rate increase was in 2020). We don't often see these packs from this recent, with most of these packs having fewer than the usual amounts due being issued in the COVID period. Total issue price = $102.32 $95.00
Canada - Recent high values used group of 43 different between #2340a to #3164, No Christmas or small definitives and includes #2845 (UNESCO Dinosaur Park / "Hoodoo" error). From the estate of an aficionado of Admiral stamps, most of these were purchased as local shows over decades for $1-5 each, purely for the reason of having an Admiral stamp affixed. While there does not seem to be ground-breaking rarities, this would likely represent a fair showing of what Admiral era postcards would look like if taking a sample batch. There will be some good postmark hunting to be done, as we noted a good variety of cancels including split ring, duplex, CDS and machine. A few better views, but strength here is the sheer quantity of Admirals used on postcard. Conservatively estimated at less than 25c per card. Estimate = $200.00 $325.00

The Falkland Islands material includes both regular and semi-postal issues; the South Georgia includes regular, semi-postal and airmail issues; the Ascension and St. Helena issues consist of one common design souvenir sheet each. The lot contains a pretty high total face value (in pounds), therefore the original issue cost would have been significant. Total 2024 Scott US$809.10 = $1,092.30 $400.00
Falkland Islands Dependencies #1L19-1L33. Very Fine mint Lightly Hinged complete 1954 issue QEII long pictorial "Ship" set of fifteen (one of the key modern ship topical sets). A popular series, with 15 values from ½ p to £1.00 values. 2023 Scott US$238.25 = $321.65 $80.00

The grouping begins with a good range of the 1875 "Coat of Arms" issues, with shades and some nice postmarks (including a nice mix of the Russian printings of 1891). Between mint and used examples, there is good coverage of the 20th century issues. Noted a complete booklet of the 1939 "Lion" issue as well as an example of each of the five panes found within, followed by issues that go up to 1972. There is a good range of "back of the book" material, including mostly mint semi-postals and Q1-Q5 parcel post stamps. Most of the stamps are hinge mounted, but a number are stuck in the folds of this smaller sized springback album. About 400 stamps. Hasn’t seen the light of day in about 50 years! 311 Finland #28/651 plus Back of the Book. There is a second album of a similar vintage with no pages (both albums with light wear). There is also a small handful of album pages, glassines and dealer cards with material that looks like it was purchased but never integrated into the album, including from the 19th century. All of this is complemented by a 32-page stockbook with 6 pages filled with material up to 1986 and small bundle of mint "new issues" from 1987-1989. Come for the albums, stay for the potential! Total original issue price €242.91 equivalent in Canadian Dollars = $354.85 $85.00
France - Alsace and Lorraine #N1/N12. Issued by the Germans during occupation in the 1870 Franco-Prussian War. There are five stamps from the first printing "points up" including N1-N4, N6 on piece and N7, followed by N10 and N12 from the second printing. All appear to have 1871 CDS cancels. The stamps appear to have the proper characteristics of the originals, rather than the forgeries or official reprints. 2023 Scott US$727.00 = $981.45 $280.00
France and Colonies - U-Haul box with France and its Colonies. This accumulation starts with a Scott Specialty 2-post album with pages up to 1983 with decent used coverage of regular issues up to about 1945 and then spotty after that. The homemade dealer boxes feature France #1100/3380 and "Back of the Book" plus a number of colonies such as Benin, Cameroons, Madagascar, Martinique, New Caledonia, St. Pierre and Miquelon, Somali Coast, etc. The lot concludes with a bit of a study of the 1984 Jacques Cartier commemoratives (France and Canada). You are going to need a weekend to understand what is in here, many thousands of stamps in total. Estimate = $200.00 $230.00

German Democratic Republic #49/2083, B17/B155, C1-C7, O1/O34. A stack of eight retired RPSC circuit books that were priced by 2012 Scott. Stamps are predominantly used, with some of the books having been well picked, others barely touched. Includes better (#58-66 - catalogues $58.45, #122-136 - cat $298.00, B35a - cat $110.00). A quick check indicates that the old selling prices (in Canadian dollars) are fairly representative of current catalogue prices (in US dollars). Not your usual circuit books. Several hundred stamps and a few souvenir sheets in total. There is also some Austria at the back of the last booklet not counted in the owner’s remaining retail price of C$909.65. Estimate = $200.00 $46.00
German Democratic Republic #488/1396. Hingeless Lighthouse album covering 1959-1972. Sparsely populated with over 100 different stamps, but what is there in mint appears to be Never Hinged. We did note the full-page souvenir sheet for the 15th anniversary of the DDR (footnote after #738). The album is a bit aged, but has a list price of over $500.00 if you were to buy it new today. Estimate = $150.00 $24.00
German States - Bavaria #2/16. Stockpage with 35 used copies of pre-1870 issues includes the Numeral and Coat of Arms, with some mild duplication. The best is the 18kr yellow #8 (unfortunately missing a corner), but there are still other stamps up to $50.00 catalogue value. Some very readable cancels, complied by the consignor with an eye for shades. Includes a forgery of #11, which is not counted in the total catalogue value. Perfect for shades, cancels or just adding to your collection. 2023 Scott US$720.40 = $972.54 $28.00
Germany #29/1509 plus Back of the Book. A bundle of five retired RPSC circuit books, priced by the 2012 Scott catalogue. Several hundred stamps, with lots of common, but also includes some better, especially from the "back of the book" noting #B323, #C55-C56 (catalogues $61.50), Offices in Turkey #5 used (cat. $260.00) and Berlin and occupation issues. A touch of Russian material is not counted in the remaining owner’s retail of C$824.65, which is probably a good estimation of the current catalogue values in US dollars. Estimate = $150.00 $34.00
Germany #363-365. Complete mint Never Hinged set of the 1927 "I.A.A." (Internationales Arbeitsamt / International Labour Bureau) overprint series. Issued in 1927 in connection with a meeting of the I.A.A. in Berlin on October 10th-15th 1927. The I.A.A. was an agency of the "League of Nations". 2023 Scott US$180.00 = $243.00 $70.00
Germany #505-527, 524a-527a, B172/B269, O92-O103. All Fine to Very Fine mint and almost mostly Never Hinged selection of 98 all different 3rd Reich 1940 to 1944 period WWII German issues, all in sound and fresh complete sets. The group includes regular, semi-postal and Official issues. All neatly laid out on two Hagner stocksheets. Historically important topical subject matter. 2024 Scott US$225.20 = $304.00 $160.00
Germany #634/661a. The German "Building" issue of 1948-1951, the start of a massive, specialized study into this fascinating issue, that fills over a cubic foot. Includes four stockbooks, a binder and a dozen manila envelopes stuffed with more on piece. There is a catalogue, a couple of reference books and even a colour guide (all in German). There is so much here that we can’t easily quantify it, but almost all the material appears to be used. There are some with notations, but it looks like you will have to carry on the work started by this accumulator. Thousands of stamps, with potential well beyond the scope of Scott. Estimate = $140.00 $38.00
Germany - File box filled with miscellaneous Germany dealer’s stocks, stockbooks, sales cards and a variety of miscellaneous items. We noted some Wurttemburg, Bavaria, GDR, DDR and a bunch of mint "General Government" material. Most of this will require your keen eye and patience when sorting. Of worthwhile mention is Germany B3-B4, B318-319, B325-325 (all used), a few mint Berlin "Bells", DDR issues for Mao and a few Karl Marx Souvenir sheets (mint and used). Thousands of stamps, with lots of duplication but with postmark potential here as well. Estimate = $160.00 $65.00
Germany - Old Minkus album with pages to 1987 holds a collection with German States, Germany, Berlin, Occupied and Occupied by issues. A mix of mint and (mostly) used. Many German states are covered, including stamps that are dubious mixed in with those with value. The issues of Germany get going in the 1880’s and go strong until 1970 (with some light periods during the 1930’s), and then gets progressively thinner into the early 1980’s. No souvenir sheets, but lots of semi-postals. There Berlin is more miss than hit followed by some Saar, Bohemia and Moravia, General Government, Ukraine, Danzig, and some nice-looking Memel. A few thousand stamps here. Lots of value and cancel potential throughout. Estimate = $240.00 $70.00
Germany - Two Stock Book Unpicked Hoard. Mostly used duplicated accumulation of over 3,500 all period and all area German stamps. In the "as received" mix, a quick glance noted 19th and 20th century Germany proper, German States, WWII occupations, post-WWII Allied, Soviet and East German material, Federal Republic and more. Saw useful "Back of the Book" items including ex-booklet se-tenant pairs and strips. A careful sort will undoubtably prove to be rewarding. Estimate = $200.00 $55.00
Germany and Berlin #665/1127 plus BOB, Berlin 9N43/9N339 plus BOB. Older Lighthouse hingeless album with pages 1949-1973. The early issues are a mix of mint (lightly hinged) and used, with the German Bundesrepublic issues being fairly thorough, including semi-postals. By the mid-1950’s, the material is mostly mint, and increasingly Never Hinged. Almost an identical description is apt for the Berlin material, but coverage isn’t nearly as robust. We noted individual stamps with catalogue values up to $60.00. The album itself has a nice blue cover. The album itself is Lighthouse reference 223SF, with the retail price to buy this album today would be over $500.00! Estimate = $300.00 $60.00
Great Britain #1. Fine to Very Fine used example of the 1840 issue Penny Black, the world's first stamp. Four close to full margins and the barest trace of any postmark which gives us a good clear look at the young Victoria. Unchecked for plate number. 2024 Scott US$375.00 = $506.25 $95.00
Great Britain #1. Sound and Very Fine+ used example of the World's First Postage Stamp, the 1840 issue Penny Black. Four full margins, deep shade, sharp impression. Very light Maltese Cross cancel in red. Positively identified as plate 3. A top-notch quality "must have" stamp for the GB or Classic World collector. 2024 Scott Classic US$575.00 = $776.25 $190.00
Great Britain #1 Used Quartet. Mixed condition used group of four 1840 issue Penny Blacks, the world's first stamps. Includes an "intense black" shade. Noted a couple with creases or margins cut-in. Unchecked for plate numbers. A great lot for plate re-constructors. 2024 Scott Classic US$1,500= $2,025.00 $210.00
Great Britain #1, 2. Fine used examples of the world's first two stamps, the Penny Black and the Two Penny Blue. Margins tight to just touching. Unchecked for plates. Tiny thin at the bottom of the #1 noted for the record. A good start to any GB or worldwide collection! 2024 Scott US$1,050.00 = $1,417.50 $210.00
Great Britain #1a. The Scott Classic and Stanley Gibbons listed intense black shade of the 1840 issue Penny Black, sound used with a Maltese cancel in red. Clear margins at top and sides, just touching at bottom. Take a good look at the scan as the stamp is unchecked for plate number. 2023 Scott Classic US$600.00 = $810.00 $110.00
Great Britain #3/122. Page of Victorian beauty! Starts with a good range of "Penny Reds" and "Tuppence Blue" issues, followed by a row of #33 with identifiable plate numbers. The 1860’s issues are particularly productive, noting #32a, 46, 53, 55, 64a, 65, and finally finishing with the Jubilee set. As per usual, expect some faults here and there, which are more than made up for by the varied and readable cancels that are found here. The last row is faulty and not included in the total catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$4765.35 = $6,433.22 $150.00
Great Britain #29/951. Near-new Stanley Gibbons "Windsor" springback album with pages to 1981, including regional and "Back of the Book" issues. Lightly populated with a couple hundred used stamps, a few in collector added mounts. Mostly common, but noted #29, 61, 62, some QV Jubilees and a Seahorse. All indications are that this album hasn’t been touched in almost 40 years. Possibly the most popular album for collectors of GB, with this version is no longer available (would have cost over $250.00 in its day). Estimate = $150.00 $55.00
Great Britain #33. Extensive plate study, mounted on six album pages out of a "Windsor" album, with black mounts expertly arranged by the collector. Missing only seven items, including the impossible plate 77 and a few above plate 218. A quick check indicates that the collector identified these correctly. Unlike many studies of this type, where collectors stopped after getting an example of each plate, there is evidence that items were upgraded for quality, with relatively few items having visible faults. 2023 Scott US$1108.75 = $1,496.81 $140.00
Great Britain #58. Complete representation of both shades of the 1/2d "Bantam" issue of 1870, along with each of the 15 plates, including the good plates "8" and "9". 359 Great Britain - A collector's accumulation of Queen Victoria issues, arranged on 6 stockpages. A premium offering, including 60 imperforate "Penny Reds" and 3 "Tuppenny Blues" including MANY better "Maltese Cross" postmarks (including numbered). Suffice to say, the catalogue value would add up quickly on this quality offering. A mix of both mint and used material, with a few faults to be expected, offered as received from the consignor. Estimate = $400.00 $130.00
Great Britain - Choice mint NH offering of 62 sets of stamps 1998-2012 as received from Royal Mail, still on the Post Office black stockcards, often with receipts. A "topical rich" offering including most of the Millenium sets, alongside Olympics, Flowers, Space and Football (to name a few). Conservatively valued for the usable postage value only. Total face value £186.14 at today's rate in Canadian dollars = $316.10 $75.00
Great Britain - Comprehensive Modern First Day Cover Collection. Clean and comprehensive British Post Office cacheted 1999-2006 period First Day Cover collection, consisting of all Very Fine complete sets and souvenir sheets. In the mix we noted 1999/2000 Millennium issues and other long commemorative sets. Even as used stamps alone, the 21st century issues are quite hard to find. This lot should appeal to the collector/dealer of used GB as well as the First Day Cover aficionado. Conservatively valued as used stamps only. 2024 Scott US$637.45 = $860.60 $190.00
Great Britain - Machin Bonanza. Selection of 132 different 1993-2023 used issues selected for high values only, with each stamp cataloging over US$1.00. Includes many of the recent odd / "unevern" £ value high values which are seldom seen with the monarchy change (and 44 "pound" values in total). Tough to find material. 2024 Scott US$432.00 = $583.20 $160.00
Great Britain - Machin Self-Adhesives. An unusual and seldom seen offering of the original 1974 "Post Office produced" self-adhesive QEII "Machin" series (9), plus the 4 souvenir sheets issued 3 years later in 1977. While these were not official postage "stamp" issues, but rather the brainchild of two philatelic entrepreneurs (Derek Worboys / John Daynes) who submitted orders on self-adhesive paper to "Her Majesty's Stationery Office" which would provide privately ordered Postal Stationery. While not acknowledged in either Gibbons or Scott catalogues, there are several printed references included with the lot which pieces together this interesting puzzle (including a stamp dealer offering of these in 1974 for £225.00!!). One of the rarities of the QEII period, mentioned in several online community forums, but we were not able to find a set offered for sale anywhere. Estimate = $300.00 $65.00
Great Britain - Mini Machin / Modern Booklet Pane / Complete Booklet / Pane grouping. A compact, yet enticing modern holding of late QEII material, including 9 complete booklets, 6 booklet panes, 2 self-adhesive panes (soccer / football), 4 souvenir sheets and a single. Lots of better items including Greeting Stamps, 2010 London souvenir sheet and illustrated 1st class QEII Machin booklets. While the owner has done some notations as to catalogue value (by Scott), there would be plenty of upside if combed through with a GB concise in-hand. Conservatively valued for the face value only. Total face value £130.41 in Canadian dollars = $221.60 $60.00
Great Britain - Postal History Grouping. An interesting assortment of postal history, put together for one reason or another by a keen collector over a number of years. We noted a number of Liverpool "Hooded" CDS postmarks, stampless covers, Isle of Wight postmarks and a couple of (somewhat faulty) Penny Blacks on piece. Primarily QV period, with roughly 25 items, not including pieces or cover fronts. Estimate = $120.00 $95.00
Great Britain - QEII mint collectors holding in 32-page Lighthouse brand stockbook (black pages). An enticing holding, being almost all Never Hinged, lightly duplicated and filling every page of the stockbook. Although we have not counted it, the face value alone would add up quickly this, with several hundred stamps present. Take a good look at the pictures to appreciate the time and effort put into arranging this material. Estimate = $150.00 $80.00
Great Britain - Seahorse holding of 28 GeoV used stamps, neatly arranged on a single Hagner brand stockpage. Includes (by Scott number) #173 x10, #174 x6, #175 x1, #222 x5 and #223 x6. We noted several better postmarks, but also some faults (as often found on the usually "parcel applied" issues). Owner's stated catalogue value over $5000.00. Estimate = $150.00 $24.00
Great Britain and Channel Islands - Group of 4 stockpages full of complete booklets, starting with a spectacular pair of EdwardVIII 6d booklets on completely blank stock (Gibbons BC1 - cat. £60.00 each, but were hinged into an album at one time), followed by an assortment of Wilding and Machin booklets. There are two inverted booklets that are partial and not counted, but one has a complete pane of 6 of the 2-1/2d with graphite lines (which still has significant catalogue value as singles). From the same period is an assortment of Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man booklets. Overall condition is good, with some different covers noted and a bit of duplication. Estimate = $130.00 $48.00
Great Britain Offices Abroad - Levant #15-24 plus extras. Complete mint Hinged (most lightly) set of the 1905 Edward VII overprint LEVANT. A nice grouping that features a complete set (by Scott listing) of the regular issue, plus the chalky paper example of the 2 ½ p value (#17, mentioned in Scott), plus four extra examples. Plenty of upside if comparing the more specialized Stanley Gibbon’s catalogue. Valued as basic Scott listed examples. 2023 Scott US$160.50 = $216.70 $60.00
Greece - Hermes heads. Group of 37 used, neatly sorted and arranged by the consignor on a single stockpage. Condition generally VG-VF centring and sound examples, though expect a few faults on such early stamps. A very interesting specialized group, which need an observant eye to negotiate through these often complicated issues. As forgeries "stamp weeds" exist on these early issues, take a good look at the scan to determine the value for yourself. Offer "as-is", with plenty of upside for the patient collector properly sort and identify. Estimate = $140.00 $80.00
Grenada #79-88, 80a, 85b, 114-123, 115a. Complete mint Lightly Hinged duo of GeoV sets, including the 1913 "GeoV Bust" and 1934 Pictorial issue. Both sets in well-above-average condition and include "extras" such as #80a / 85b (1913 series Scott listed shade varieties) and #115a (1934 series Scott listed perforation variety). A nice dup of sets, worthy of any collection. 2023 Scott US$257.15 = $347.15 $160.00
Hong Kong - Accumulation from British colony "classics" to post-handover to China. Includes a bundle of old album pages (the first page we noted four perfins, with the page probably worth the estimate alone!). Also includes a couple of envelopes of QEII off paper and a page with 1990’s blocks, souvenir sheets, strips and a couple of post-handover issues. The lot concludes with five different 2000's souvenir packs, including the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland in 2005. Estimate = $130.00 $150.00
Iceland #9/17. Selection of seven stamps from the first "Aur" denominated "Coat of Arms" series, issued between 1876-1892, all are perf 14 x 13-1/2. Includes #9, which is likely postally used with a very light cancel, but may also be mint, no gum (we have counted this as the cheaper mint value). Also includes #11, 12, 13 (mint, Hinged), 14, 16 and 17. Typical mixed condition as often found on this series. 2023 Scott US$832.00 = $1,123.20 $95.00
Iceland #10/29. Study group of 28 assorted mint and used issues from the 19th century "Coat of Arms" set. Examples might have been selected for shade differences or cancels. Condition is a bit mixed, as is normal for these issues, but there is both good value and research potential here. The example of #13, (the 20a value) is mint no-gum, therefore not counted in the total catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$860.00 = $1,161.00 $110.00
Iceland #15/29. Stockcard with nine assorted mint stamps from the "Coat of Arms" issues from both the 1882-1892 and 1896-1901 printings. Includes #15 (thin, not counted), 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 28, 28a and 29. A bit heavily hinged, but a nice fresh appearance. 2023 Scott US$858.00 = $1,158.30 $120.00
Iceland #24/503. Pair of albums with mint and used overlapping collections. One album is an old "Stender" with an attractive flag cover and pages up to 1971. The second is a hingeless Lighthouse album with green padded cover (bit of paper adhesion and discoloration) with nice slipcover and pages 1947-1974. Between the two albums, there is good coverage between the 1930’s-1970s, with a moderate amount of duplication. Includes better individual items in the $10-$100 range (e.g. #245, used). Comes with some semi-postal and airmail issues, and even a couple of stamp-inspired fridge magnets! Overall condition is quite good, expect the mint to be mostly Hinged. Great collection starter or for selling in online auctions. 2023 Scott US$1006.25 = $1,358.44 $120.00
Iceland #34/211, B1-B4, C3-C8. A pair of black stockpages with a selection of mint items from the first half of the 20th century. Lots of better, including some better singles from the "Kings" issues, the airmail set C4-C8, most of the 1930 Parliamentary Millenary issue and the "Golden Falls" issue. Lovely appearance, while some of the stamps are a bit heavily hinged. The example of C3 is thinned and not counted in the total catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$954.90 = $1,289.12 $90.00
Iceland #34/432. Collection with "deja-vu". We don’t think that we have seen anyone with an album like this. It is a "Stender’s" Icelandic album with pages up to 1971. When this collector ended up with extra material, they bought another set of pages (or annual supplements) and integrated them into the binder and kept adding stamps, but it was done inconsistently, so you will get anywhere from 1 to 3 of each page. Sometimes there are mint and used stamps of a particular issue, but sometimes they are all mint, or all used (or both, or neither!). What is here are a few hundred stamps and although the collection has been picked of the earlier issues, there is still lots of goodies here, including the 1930 Parliament series, missing only a couple of higher values. We noted two copies of #206 (used) and complete mint sets of the 1939 and 1940 World’s Fair issues (cat $188.00). Includes some "back of the book" including 3 pairs of souvenir sheets B5-B6, and 1931 Zeppelin overprints C9 & C11 (mint), some officials and finishing off with a page of revenue usages and cinderellas. Condition is a bit mixed, but between all the extra pages and stamps, you should be able to build a good collection or dealer stock from this album (obviously damaged or mis-identified items not counted). 2023 Scott US$2930.75 = $3,956.51 $210.00
Iceland #35/149, C2. Great selection of used "Kings" issues with better values and overprints (including an airmail overprint). Only one is revenue cancelled (and is actually priced more in Scott that way). Includes #83, 121, 137-138, 149, C2 among many nice and cleanly used items. Total 2023 Scott US$900.30 = $1,215.41 $85.00
Iceland #45/68. Selection of the 1 Gildi revalued overprint with research potential. Includes mint and used, with the 1902-1903 overprints in different colours and stamps with different perforations. We aren’t sure if the collector put aside the extra copies because there is overprint, shade or cancel interest, so we will leave that up to you. Notable better includes #51 mint, #55 mint and used, and #67-68 both used. The 40 aur used is not counted, as the cancel is likely fake. 2023 Scott US$403.10 = $544.19 $90.00
Iceland #86-98. Complete Sigurdsson and Frederik VIII sets of 1911-1912 in a combination of mint and used. From the Sigurdsson set, the #87 is mint no-gum (therefore not counted) and the 15a denomination is used. The Frederik VIII set has the two high values and two low values used, sandwiching the three mint middle values. The mint are Hinged, and the perforations and centering are typical for this issue and. Overall appearance is fresh. 2023 Scott US$480.00 = $648.00 $65.00
Iceland #152-166. VF complete mint Hinged set of the 1930 "Millenary of Althing" marking the anniversary of the oldest Parliament in the world. Post Office fresh colours, a striking example of this popular series. 2023 Scott US$396.50 = $535.25 $70.00
Iceland #199/305. Attractive mint commemoratives issued between 1937-1957. Includes the World’s Fair issue and with 1940 overprint, complete Sigurdsson and Bjornsson issues and many of the other key issues of this time period. Fresh appearance, well centred and most have only been hinged once. 2023 Scott US$664.25 = $896.74 $75.00
Iceland #O4/O70, CO1. Thorough run of official Icelandic issues. An interesting selection that includes a bit of duplication because both mint and used examples present, along with others that have been set aside by the collector because different shades. There are lots of better items, such as O7-O9, O12, O28, O30,O49 and O50. Expect all the mint examples to be Hinged. Overall condition is quite good. 2023 Scott US$962.45 = $1,299.31 $80.00
Iceland #O53/O67. Partial set of the Parliament Millenary issue of 1930 with "Pjonustumecki" (official overprint). The stamps are a mix of mint and used. Not missing many to be a complete run. 2024 Scott US$332.35 = $448.70 $160.00
India and States - Amongst the most popular lots that we get are these "odds and ends" offerings of India and Indian States material, and this one will not disappoint! The old catalogue values on the album pages were penciled in and totaled over $500.00, with the obviously damaged not counted. We haven’t taken a guess at the value of the dealer’s stock portion of this lot, but it would also add up quickly. Estimate = $150.00 $210.00

Generally common stamps, except for the first three (#4b mint and used and #4c, all perf 14 x 14). The overprint on the mint stamp looks extremely suspicious and appears to be the variety with no dot after "PENI" but inspection under microscope shows some tiny bits of blue ink where the dot should appear. Also, the "U" in Niue looks like a "V" and the lettering is larger and sharper than the genuine. The consignor thinks it to be a counterfeit. The other two, used stamps, appear to be genuine. All identified and valued by the consignor. Owner's 2023 Scott US$974.90 = $1,314.90 $34.00

These stamps were part of an early 1980s investment portfolio when they were purchased for US$1,500.00! Here's your chance to acquire this pristine group for probably a bit less than that. 2024 Scott US$285.00 = $384.75 $85.00
USA - Annual Collections / Year Sets, plus extras! Complete (inclusive) run of Annual Collections / Year Sets booklets 1971-1987, all still in the original Post Office envelopes (including extra examples for 1979 x2 / 1980 x2 / 1987). In addition, there is a Post Office souvenir folder for the 1980 Winter Olympics and a small red stockbook, filled with an array of mint NH singles, blocks and coils. Counted only for the total face value / usable postage, but with none of the uneven postage (i.e. Transportation coils, 7.1c) or small selection of precancels or postage due stamps counted. Total face value US$209.74 in CDN funds = $283.64 $80.00
USA - Bankers Box of Kiloware. Box containing 18 lbs of used "on and off paper", seemingly unpicked (including for uncancelled), packed in baggies as received from local charities. Estimate = $100.00 $13.00
USA - Mountains of mint. Starting with a number of panes and sheetlets, mostly from the 29c-32c era in individual page protectors followed by several year sets from the 1970’s-1980’s and finally a number of envelopes with singles and plate blocks of American issues from the 3c-8c era (seems to be a good mix of material, as we didn’t see a lot of duplication on first glance). Only valued for the usable postage value, as done by the previous owner. Owner’s detailed count of face value of US$372.10 = $502.34 $260.00
USA - Pair of near-new, large three-ring Scott Specialty binders with matching slipcovers, holding Scott "National" pages 1935-1995 with over 2100 mostly different, mostly used stamps, including some airmail issues. The binders and pages alone retail over $300.00. In addition, there are also US Scott Specialty pages (no binder) for postal cards and reply cards, with a selection of mostly used cards post-1950 and a three-ring binder holding some mint American issues from about 1920-1963 (the latter with great appearance, but a mix of gum issues). A nice chance to pick up some premium albums. Estimate = $150.00 $230.00
USA - Premium "postage" offering of modern sheets / souvenir sheets and booklets. An enticing offering of mint Never Hinged (or Mint, self-adhesive) complete sheets or panes, offered as received, many still in the original USPS packaging. Noted many better "postage plus" items such as Looney Tunes, "Singers" and multiple "Celebrate the Century" packs. Some mild duplication, but overall a very clean offering. Conservatively valued for the usable postage only. Total face value US$188.39 converted into CDN Funds = $254.70 $170.00
USA Postal History - Airmail FFC First Flight Cover HOARD. Part of one collector's estate, featuring 843 flown airmail FFC First Flight Covers from the 1920's to 1980's from across the country. While the majority of the flights are "modern" often sent in by the collector himself to receive a "one-off" example of the flight, there are still easily over 100 covers from the 1920's to 1950's that are worth the estimate alone. A wonderful lot for any collector of US aerophilately. Very conservatively estimated at less than 25 cents per cover. Estimate = $200.00 $85.00
USA Precancels - Approximately 75 manila stocksheets with easily a couple thousand US precancels (heavily duplicated in spots) as arranged by the original collector decades ago. While not a substantial variety of different types, the sheer quantity of this offering should prove rewarding after sorted out. Offered as received. Estimate = $200.00 $90.00
USA State Duck - Illinois #1. The rare 1975 first issue $5.00 "Mallard" migratory waterfowl stamp. Perfect Very Fine mint Never Hinged. One of the scarcest of the state "Duck Stamp" issues. 2021 Scott US Specialized US$325.00 = $438.75 $80.00
Wallis and Futuna #1/431, B1/B9, C1/C157, CB3, J1/J37. Clean and mostly mint lightly duplicated stock of 251 stamps, including a wide range of both regular and "Back of the Book" issues, all identified and organized in dealer "102" type sales cards, all housed in one compact 3-ring counter sales book. Lots of useful complete sets (up to $95.00) and singles (up to $22.50). Owner's older 2017 Scott US$858.30 = $1,158.70 $150.00
Worldwide - A box of material that emphasizes the point that not all collections are created equally. This diverse group of albums, binders and stockbooks includes three old-time collections with lots of classic-era material and nothing after 1950. Following the "older albums" are three more modern albums and a "springback album" containing loads of stamps from across the globe. Of particular note is a 16-page stockbook marked "Hong Kong and Portugal", plus a handful of loose album pages (including some Switzerland and Pitcairn Islands). The lot concludes with a lovely Stanley Gibbons 1970 series Australia binder containing mostly "Dunes" material on black stockpages and no Australia(!). A picker’s delight. Estimate = $160.00 $75.00
Worldwide - A collector's clean-up of material, all neatly packed within a small box. We noted USA (binder), New Zealand (2 binders) and then a mix of album pages and stockpages, crammed with a wide variety of worldwide material. In need of a good sort, which should provide a good evening of philatelic fun. Estimate = $120.00 $55.00
Worldwide - An "Asia" explosion in a file box. As received, compiled from many sources and in many different formats, you will have to invest a bit of time, but this should prove quite rewarding! Includes album pages, stockpages, glassines, stockcards and a couple of battered stockbooks. In no particular order, we noted North Vietnam, Macau, China (no obvious PRC), Indonesia, Thailand (including a dealer’s stock), Korea, Singapore and a hint of Manchukuo and Japan. This represents the balance of a consignment, offered as received. Estimate = $150.00 $160.00
Worldwide - Bankers box filled with mostly off-paper offerings from the 19th century, up to early 2000s. Includes some organized into small glassine envelopes, but much is "free range", from a very wide range of countries. This would be a perfect way to "spice up" a club meeting or to have a very affordable way to spend a rainy spring day. There must be at least 30,000 stamps here, but needs some organization to figure out what truly lurks inside. Estimate = $140.00 $150.00
Worldwide - Bankers box of Latin America. A very mixed bag of material, including some mounted Venezuela, Mexico, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina and Peru, along with six notebooks with a very specialized study of early Argentina. A couple items of particular note are a bag of partial sheets of mint Argentinian issues from the early 1980’s that catalogued over $300.00 in 1992 and a 1975 Bolivian presentation folder. Finally, there is a small shoebox sized box with an old dealer’s stock of Bolivia and Honduras. A great lot for the student of Central and South America! Estimate = $180.00 $150.00
Worldwide - Box lot, starting with a pair of somewhat "trashed" Harris Standard binders, with pages to the late 1970’s, which contain a collection strong in Eastern Europe, and lots of colourful topical stamps throughout (binders have seen better days, but the stamps survived!). There is a "binderless" set of worldwide Harris pages with a different collection (a bit sparse, but noted some United States and some Europe). There are three bundles of homemade pages with town cancel collections from about 1960-1982, including many Western European countries, with a touch from other countries (Australia/New Zealand/Japan/East Germany). Finally, there is a small manila page stockbook of pre-1980 used GB and an old stockbook with used USSR (1963-1976 with some earlier issues tucked in the back). Most of the over 10,000 stamps will be more common, but likely a few hidden gems for the adventurous sorter. Estimate = $130.00 $60.00
Worldwide - Box with binders of homemade pages with "J" to "T" countries. A bit of feast or famine, when there is coverage, it is pretty good, when there isn’t, it is a bit barren. The owner counted a total of 10,600 mint and used stamps, hinged to the pages. Includes Saar, Spain, Thailand, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Jordan, Singapore, Malaya, South Africa, Pitcairn Islands, Palestine, Japan, Jugoslavia (sic) and Korea. We did not some particular strength in St. Lucia and St. Vincent. There is also an old "Strand" album filled will more classic-era possibilities and a mint sheet file with full panes (CTO) from Poland and Romania. Lots to keep you busy here. Estimate = $200.00 $120.00
Worldwide - Cinderellas, labels, charity stamps, poster stamp HOARD. Mostly American, but with some Canadian (including French language) and even a Danish sheet. There are Christmas, Easter, BoysTown/Omaha/Starr Home for Boys, Wildlife Federation, Philatelic (noted a PIPEX ’49 complete sheet in the original envelope), CAPEX ’96 and Pacific ’97, Veterans of Foreign Wars, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, religious (including a promo letter "signed" by Roy Rogers and Dale Evans), a single "Columbia Coast Mission" seal and more. Most are complete panes or large blocks, filling three bursting binders and a DOZEN mint sheet files, plus some loose material. Besides the overwhelming quantity of seals, there is lots of supporting material, such as promotional letters, sleeves/packaging which adds to this lot. The range of years looks to be 1910-1999. Fills a file box to the top, seldom offered in such quantity! Estimate = $300.00 $85.00
Worldwide - Classic "Senf Postage Stamp Album" with 2471 stamps from around the world. The album looks to be printed around 1900, as the latest "imaged" stamp printed in the album is from 1899. Likely the pride and joy of a keen stamp collector from decades ago, stamps look like they were added in til about 1950. While some stamps have been removed from the usual spots (UK, Canada, USA), the rest of the world looks largely untouched as collected. Lots of better stamps to be mined out of here for the worldwide collector. Estimate = $200.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Complete world collection in FIVE Harris brand albums, with pages going into the early 1980’s comprising of 3x Senior Stateman and 2x Statesman Deluxe binders (which are in nice condition). The albums look moderately populated, but noted little concentrations of Canada, China, United States, Great Britain and 80 pages filled with Russia/USSR (including 112 souvenir sheets, which are not counted in the overall count of 18,675 almost all different stamps. While most of the stamps are common, there is the occasional better item lurking throughout (e.g. mint GB £1 Royal Wedding and Canada MR2Ci (with no gum)). Estimate = $200.00 $140.00
Worldwide - Middle-eastern mania! A U-haul box with bits and pieces from a variety of sources. Starting with 4 homemade boxes from a dealer’s stock, with stamps arranged within hundreds of glassines. This dealer stock is sorted by country, with the stamps in individual #5 sized glassine envelopes, arranged by Scott number, most having 1-10 stamps each (generally more used than mint). Includes Iran (post-1968), Israel (up to 2007), Egypt, and a box of mixed with Aden, Ajman, Palestine, UAR, etc. Easily 3000 glassines, with at least 5000 stamps in total. All of this is followed by a springback album with mounted collections of Turkey and UAR and finally supplemented by some dealer pages with assorted classics (e.g. Iran page cataloguing US$390.00) and mini folios covering some "Dunes", such as Fujeria, Ras al Khaima, Yemen, Ajman, Dubai, Umm al Quiwan and Sharjah. Something for the classics collector, something for the topical collector and a TON of stamps. Estimate = $200.00 $130.00
Worldwide - Six Carton Cornucopia. Six cartons packed to the brim with many years worth of purchases made by a would-be worldwide collector, seemingly acquired mostly from eBay sellers and stamp shows, much still in the original packaging as purchased and received. Noted, still on pages, in stockbooks and albums: 1960s Russia, a used Guernsey collection; numerous "sampler" worldwide and country collections; several US, Canadian and general worldwide collections in albums. Also in the lot are many tens of thousands of stamps (mostly) used off paper sorted and sold by country or letter of the alphabet in as of yet unopened packages. Here's your chance to have the fun organizing this huge worldwide trove that the previous owner purchased but never got around to sorting. Estimate = $300.00 $350.00
Worldwide - Small but powerful collector's accumulation of "odds and ends" as purchased over a number of years, all still on the original dealer cards. This mostly mint selection includes sets, singles, souvenir sheets, panes, booklets etc. A wide range of countries represented, with a wealth of topical interest. Over 100 dealer cards / sleeves, each with a range from a single stamp to a series of stamps, with values to $50.00. A couple of worthwhile items to note are Japanese mini-sheets / booklets, USA "Mars Rover" $3.00 souvenir sheet x 2 and a colourful "Toy Story" souvenir sheet from Ghana. Take a good look at the photos to appreciated the quality of this offering. Estimate = $150.00 $170.00
Worldwide - Stuffed to "almost bursting" box with eleven albums and stockbooks. Includes some worldwide albums with areas of concentration that include Western and Eastern Europe, with a bit of USA and Canada. We noted some circa 1980’s commemorative "panels", a pair of 1990’s philatelic calendars, some loose album pages and a couple of boxes of loose stamps. Amongst the albums with their own value is a nice medium sized 32-page padded cover Unisafe stockbook with black pages and acetate strips and a tan Lindner, 18 ring binder. Includes "Strand" and "Modern" albums with classic-era material. Thousands of stamps. Estimate = $140.00 $110.00
Worldwide - The balance of a nine-volume worldwide collection that we have been breaking up over the past few months. The binders themselves are mostly "Borek" brand, with one green Lighthouse springback, probably from the 1970’s. The collection itself is varied, with spots of better pre-1920 and better coverage through the 1950’s-1960's, but with not much post-1970. There is no pattern to this collection, with some beautiful sets that have catalogue values of up to $75.00. Some countries have one or two stamps, others have a couple hundred stamps, and almost always a mix of mint and used. Better items include countries starting with the letters "I" or "L", plus there is some useful Albania, Korea, Indonesia, Portugal (and Colonies), Poland and Vietnam. A picking extravaganza! Estimate = $300.00 $140.00
Worldwide - There isn’t much breathing room to be had in this box of assorted collections. There are a few albums with general worldwide offerings, including 1930’s "Centurion" and "Improved" albums packed with pre-1950 material, followed by a "Citation" album with another few thousand stamps (perhaps a bit more modern - up to the 1970’s) and a bit sparsely populated "Ambassador" album. There are a couple of binders with stock or looseleaf pages with strength in "A-G" countries, followed by a ledger with older stamps (with a notation stating that it catalogued $125.00 in 1945, please take that with a big grain of salt). There are some WWF animal-themed sets, maxi-cards, and FDC’s from the mid-to-late 1980’s, some in a specialty album, some roaming wild. As with many of these lots, almost every remaining space is filled with loose album, dealer or "102" cards. Estimate = $200.00 $120.00
Worldwide - Trio of sturdy apple boxes, with the balance of a consignment. The first box contains four mandarin orange boxes, each packed with envelopes containing many stamps from (as the previous owner indicates) Germany, Australia (2), Great Britain & Hong Kong. The second box is US, with two more mandarin boxes of a similar ilk and four albums with "fits and starts" of collections. The final box includes some binders with manilla stockpages and stamps from Italy, Germany and Australia, followed by loose pages and envelopes from many other corners of the world. Largely unchecked, so while most material appears to be more common, there may be some treasures lurking inside. Estimate = $200.00 $230.00
Worldwide - Two Cartons of Unrequited Dreams. Two Bankers boxes packed to the brim with many years worth of purchases made by a would-be worldwide collector, seemingly mostly from eBay and stamp shows, much still in the original packaging as purchased. Also in the lot are tens of thousands of stamps mint and (mostly) used off paper sorted and sold by country or letter of the alphabet in unopened packages. 484 Worldwide Postcards - Lifetime collection of Mabel Lucie Attwell "artist signed" postcards. An astounding offering of 173 postcards, arranged within an album, all featuring the artwork of renowned artist Mable Attwell (a very distinct style). Attwell (1879-1964) was a British illustrator who created a large amount of illustrations featuring cute nostalgic views of children (based on her daughter Peggy). About half of the postcards are used, from the 1920's to 1950's era, which shows the long-lasting appeal of her illustrations. A wonderful chance to acquire "once in a lifetime" offering of Attwell cards. Estimate = $350.00 $150.00

Worldwide Supplies - A "dealer orientated" medium box of supplies, including 3x blue dealer show books (to hold "102" cards) with pages and slipcases, then at least a dozen packages (plus partial packages) of postcard / cover sleeves with both "rigid" top-loading and "soft" side-loading types (note, the Unisafe sleeves, which there are 3 unopened packs plus a couple partial packages retail online for $59.95 per pack!). Estimate = $140.00 $110.00
Worldwide Supplies - A lightly used group of 200 vario (or vario style) stocksheets, neatly packed into a small box. These are all 2-row pages, ideal for covers / postal history or stamp panes. The Gibbons albums are complemented with a duo of deluxe 3-ring albums (with slipcases) and a trio of "small size" stockbooks. Nice clean supplies, in need of a second chance! Estimate = $120.00 $110.00
Worldwide Supplies - Lightly used group of 4-pocket clean pages, with standard 3-hole punch configuration to fit any standard binder. Group of 150 pages, which were used by the previous owner to house postcards (which stuck out the top slightly). Very useful for mint blocks, or anything you would want to potentially view both sides of with ease. All neatly packed into a small box. With the cost of supplies ever increasing due to supply-chain issues, it is nice to put some of these lightly used supplies back into use. Estimate = $120.00 $110.00
Worldwide Supplies / Stamps - Manila Stocksheets. A small box containing 100 lightly / moderately used stocksheets with about 75% of the sheets having a smattering of stamps from around the world. These standard 3-ring hole punch pages are ready to be given a binder and live another day. The "new" retail cost on these is over $150.00. Just over 200 used pages, about 3/4 are stuffed with heavily duplicated used stamps, almost all British Commonwealth, most Canada (including some revenue).
