Albania #C8-C14. Complete mint Hinged set of the 1929 overprint in red-brown of the first series airmail set. 2023 Scott US$39.75 = $53.65 $10.00
Albania #C15-C21. Complete mint Never Hinged set of the 1928 overprint of the first series airmail. This overprint was to commemorate the first flight across the Adriatic, from Valona to Brindisi on April 21st 1928. A couple minor toning spots on the gum side, mentioned for the record. 2023 Scott US$190.75 = $257.50 $55.00
Albania - Not-often-seen collector’s accumulation or treasure pile of mint and used Albania, including the dubious early eagle issues (not counted), a range of overprints, airmail, souvenir sheets and nice post-war commemorative sets. With auction lots, dealer cards and glassines, mounted collections, there are bound to be positive surprises here. Hundreds of stamps. If you are to believe the various notations throughout, there is probably a couple thousand dollars worth of catalogue value here. Overall condition looks pretty good and some duplication is to be expected. Estimate = $200.00 $475.00
Australia #726/1838. Two decades of First Day Covers issued 1980-2000, all unaddressed and with Post Office cachet. About 400 different, mostly with commemoratives and some small to medium sized souvenir sheets. Individual stamps with face values up to A$10.00 each. A few are non-standard (e.g. numismatic, Frama, label). Purchased directly from the Australian Post Office and until very recently these were in their original packaging, so the overall condition is excellent. The original cost would have been several hundred dollars. Estimate = $180.00 $110.00
Australia - Modern mint issues mostly from the 27c-45c era, including definitives (up to A$20.00 face value) all still in their original Australia Post office glassines and set packages. Lots of commemoratives, se-tenants, and small sized souvenir sheets. From a collector with a standing order for new issues, so we expect it to be a very complete run. Condition as originally issued. Bonus Christmas "cards" with cancelled contemporary issues sent to standing order customers, not counted in our conservative count of the total face value. Total face value AUD$450.00 = $405.00 $190.00
Australia and States - A tub of amazing "odds and ends", including loose used stamps, with some ‘Roos and lots of King George V "Heads", followed by a handful of mint presentation packs and mint sets and singles (mostly 1970’s-’80s). There are two handfuls of dealer approval pages that look relatively untouched (both mint and used - with some cancel potential). The modern includes the 1982, 1983 and 2000 year albums. There is a small, but intriguing bundle of Aussie states issues, unchecked for better. Finally, there is a Stanley Gibbons padded four ring binder with pages to 1981, with the binder being in excellent shape and there are a couple hundred mint and used stamps inside. Not your usual holding. Estimate = $250.00 $130.00
Australia and States - Collection in three parts, starting with a Stanley Gibbons album with a good starter collection of used issues up to 1993, including some potentially better "Roos" and King George V "Heads", but no souvenir sheets or back of the book. The second part is a battered 64-page Lighthouse stockbook with used Australia up to about 2005, and with a nice offering of "States" (with some better values, great cancels and a few perfins), "Christmas Island" and "Australian Antarctic Territory". The final part is a couple dozen early-1980’s presentation folders (face value A$40.00). Great exploration here ahead for the intrepid collector. Estimate = $200.00 $85.00

There is over 10lbs of stamps here, which when you consider they are off-paper, adds up to a colossal amount of stamps. It would have taken hundreds of hours just to soak / dry / bundle this group. Of particular note is the strength in the QEII Centennial issue and we believe this will be totally unchecked for better papers / varieties / postmarks. These lots don't come around much anymore. Estimate = $160.00 $22.00

Many better including Lunar New Years, Chinatown Gates, Joe Fafard, 2010 Olympics, Red River Colony etc. The catalogue value would add up quickly on these, which were conservatively valued for the total usable face / postage value only. Total face value = $258.39 $170.00
Canada - Multi-Volume Stock of Mint/Used/on Cover. Massive six volume stock of many thousands of well organized mostly used (but with a decent amount of mint face value also noted) stamps, consisting of: 1) used Edwards through QEII including some covers/cards and postmark interest; 2) #284/730 mint, used and on cover 1949 to 1977 period GeoVI and QEII definitives; 3) #303/852 mint and (mostly) used 1948 to 1980 period commemoratives; 4) mint and (mostly) used QEII definitives from #781/2709; 5) mint and (mostly) used 1983 to 2022 period commemoratives, #1007/3362; and finally 6) a mounted collection of duplicated used 1963-1987 issue commemoratives. Packed three-ring binder, chock full with mint and used OHMS and G Official overprints as well as a wide range of 4-hole and (some) 5-hole OHMS perfins (plus some covers). Noted better individual items in the overprints (#O9, O10, O25, etc.) and an impressive rangge of different issues, positions and varieties in the large group of perfin Officials. Take a good look at all the scans to fully appreciate the scope, quality and value of this original "offered as received" holding. Estimate = $750.00 $210.00
Canada - Plate Block / Corner Blocks. A 1960's / 1970's mint Never Hinged collector accumulation, as assembled by the original collector as purchased from the Post Office, all arranged within a 32-page cloth stockbook. There is a box of #10 covers with corner cards from First Nations communities and administrations. A real "mish-mash" of material, culled from a collector's accumulation with both "loose" and "written-up" material. While the pictures will have to tell the story of much of this, some of the highlights include Gambier (on stamp), North Galiano (CDS and Split Ring, two pieces), Trepanier (cover), Silverstar Mountain (1992 cover), numerous Penticton SUB cancels (covers), Okanagon (note, early spelling 1899 on stamp) and Paxton Valley (1914 partial cover). Lots of value throughout, just in need of a good sort. Estimate = $150.00 $110.00
Canada Covers - Designer / Delegate SIGNED FDC Collection. An astonishing collection of 25 Canada Post First Day Covers 2005-2009, all signed by the stamp designer (and often many other Canada Post delegates / stamp design team members) as collected by an enthusiastic collector, mostly from stamp launches in the Vancouver area. While seemingly a bit messy at first glance, there is also a wealth of "additional items" which include business cards (including from the stamp designers) and news clippings / pamphlets collected at the Canada Post events. Likely each one of these is a "one of a kind" as it is highly unlikely that anyone else when to the same extent of effort at these Post Office events to accumulate as many signatures. Estimate = $300.00 $375.00
Canada Covers - Eastern Arctic Patrol study lot, including RMS Nascopie and Coast Guard Ship CD Howe. Estimate = $350.00 $280.00
Canada Covers - First Day Cover HOARD. A bankers box, stuffed with 1147 Canada Post First Day Covers (yes, we counted them). Almost all are loose or individually sleeved, with the exception of one FDC album. Better than the usual mix, with many more "modern" including issues up to 2010 with numerous souvenir sheets / blocks etc. A few private cachet covers noted as well, mentioned "for the record", but these are dwarfed in numbers by the Canada Post covers. Original Post Office cost would have easily been over $1000.00 (likely considerably more than that). Estimate = $250.00 $220.00
Canada Covers - First Day Cover. Canada #254 upper right Plate Block #1 on Victoria BC "Hotel Strathcona" registered cover, sent locally and postmarked April 10th 1943. Unitrade lists "There was no official first day in Ottawa" and "First issued at the Calgary post office at 10:30 am on April 9th, 1943". While at first glance this might seem like a "2nd Day" cover, on the back is the notation "First plate block sold in Victoria, 10:40am, April 10 '43, they just came down from stock", making this the first available use in Victoria, 24hrs and 10 minutes after the first release in Calgary. 202 Canada Covers - First Day Covers. A collector's life-time holding of First Day Covers 1958-1967 housed in 24 "small FDC albums", which hold about 20 covers each (we will conservatively say there are 400 covers in this lot). A mix of both cacheted and uncacheted covers, mostly addressed to the original collector, with several cachet makers noted including Capital, Rose Craft, Phila-Coin, Caneco, Artcraft etc. Of particular note are the 50+ 1967 QEII Centennial FDC, including 4x $1.00 value covers (including a plate block). Of particular note, 4 of the "Beaver Philatelic Society" cachet covers are addressed to Hans Zoell, from the earliest days of his "Sterling Stamp Company". Zoell went on to become one of the more important figures in Saskatchewan "philatelic" history for the array of cachet covers his company created for collectors. Estimate = $200.00 $110.00
Canada Covers - First Day Covers. Complete set of the 1942 "War Issue" July 1st issue date stamps, all on individual covers, plus the C7, CE1, E10 "back of the book" issue stamps. 205 Canada Covers - First Day Covers. Giant stamp estate holding of "#8" sized FDC, primarily from the 1960's / 1970's within a small plastic tote. A mix of private cachet, non-cachet, commercial FDC (sourced from a mail-room near the collector) and early Canada post "small size" cachet First Day Covers (before switching to the larger format we know today). Strength in the privately produced cachets, of which we noted several makers including Cole, Rose Craft, "Globe" generic and a very decent run of Victoria BC locally produced "Brickley-Jones" covers. 207 Canada Covers - Four albums of First Day covers from 1934-1999. A couple of hundred covers, about 1/4 are uncacheted (includes better like a Peace set on single covers). The pre-1971 covers that have cachets include a number of uncommon. The 1937 Coronation and 1939 Royal visit are notable, and there are a number of attractive 1950’s cachets. There is a binder with more modern oversized FDCs including souvenir sheets, and "Art" plate blocks. The Christmas 1999 cover is signed by three people (designers?). Three of the albums are red Uni-Safe "Dual" albums in excellent condition. Estimate = $150.00 $36.00

The cover was given a custom, rubber stamped "Salved From the Sea" marking in Churchill Manitoba, and a cover with the stamp missing (as normal), plus a partial Ottawa "Dead Letter Office" marking. A scarce cover on the original exhibit page! Estimate = $300.00 $80.00
Canada Covers - Royal Visit / Royal Train Holding. An enticing group of 30 covers, primarily from the 1939 Visit (including Newfoundland), but also a few from the 1951 and 1972 visits. We noted both First Day Covers (including better illustrated cachets) as well as "other dates" which can be tracked by date as to what city the Royal Train was in (for example, May 28th 1939, Royal Train at Banff AB). Of particular note are two registered covers, both the English "Royal Train Post Office, Canada" registration box postmark. Some interesting pieces here. All offered "as received". Estimate = $180.00 $120.00

France, Monaco, Andorra - Balance of the holding of "CEF" first day cancel panel pages that we have been selling over the past couple of months. This group includes 1) France (in French) covering panels #120/231 (1970-1973), 2 groups of Monaco panels #24/56 (1970-1973) and a few Andorra panels. About 160 panels in total. Each with the stamp and an official first day cancel on a custom designed, thin card, panel, hole punched to fit a specialized "CEF" album (not included). These are works of art and will enhance any FDC collection. Production for the French language panels was typically between 25,000-34,000 each. Includes a CEF sales catalogue that was used to entice collectors. Using an online calculator, these panels cost $2.00 - $3.00 each back in the 1970’s. Estimate = $150.00 $80.00
France, Monaco, Andorra - Three groups of "CEF" first day cancels from 1) France (in French) covering panels #120/231 (1970-1973), Monaco panels #24/56 (1970-1973) and Andorra panels #4-55 (1966-1980), plus some "bonus" panels (different cancels, multiple countries, etc) and a small number of duplicates. About 180 panels in total. Each with the stamp with an official first day cancel on a custom designed, thin card, panel, hole punched to fit a specialized "CEF" album (not included). These are works of art and will enhance any FDC collection. Production for these French language panels was typically between 25,000-34,000 each, and as low as 4,500 for Andorra. The lot includes a couple CEF sales catalogues that were used to entice collectors. Using an online calculator, these panels cost $2.00 - $3.00 each back in the 1970’s. Estimate = $150.00 $80.00
French Colonies - Including areas formerly under French administration. A substantial holding of purchases made from auction houses or bid boards from around the world. They were set aside and are offered "as received". Better are noted throughout, such as French Polynesia C47a (2 souvenir sheets), Wallis and Futuna, Andorra, Guadeloupe, Algeria, Inini, New Caledonia, Martinique, Somalia, Djibouti, Gabon, Guinea, Guiana, Morocco, Reunion, Mali (1971 "gold" DeGaulle C114), French Southern and Antarctic Territory and Sudan. 274 German Democratic Republic #122-136. Complete VF mint mostly Never Hinged 1953 "Portrait" definitive set with the "DDR" watermark. This is one of the key early sets and hard to find in this condition. While a few of the lower values are Lightly Hinged, the majority is Never Hinged. 2023 Scott US$271.35 = $366.32 $34.00
Germany - Balance of a consignment, including a stockpage of used post-war semi-postal and airmails (2020 Scott $228.65), nine Nazi-era souvenir sheets, followed by a handful of black stock cards and glassines with everything from early 20th century classics to late century "new issues" still in their original packaging. The lot concludes with a cigar box filled with over 40 complete (but duplicated) booklets, including Berlin and DDR issues. A nice accumulation. Estimate = $200.00 $140.00
Germany - Lot in Albums and on Stock Sheets. Mint and used collections/stock in three groups, consisting of: 1) Collections of 1919-1932, 1933-1945 and 1945-1961 period Germany, Bavaria and post-WWII Zones (including Zones) on album pages in three folders; 2) mint and used 1949 to 1979 Berlin issues in a Lighthouse SF (Hingeless) album; 3) and finally a substantial mint and used (plus a few covers) stock of 19th to 21st century issues on various types of stock page. The owner has noted and estimated a catalogue value of over $1,800.00 for the collections alone (the "stock" portion of this lot probably has a catalogue valuation higher than that). Estimate = $325.00 $120.00
Germany States - Both 19th century "States" and some post-war issues with some local and private posts, even Cinderellas. A "weird and wonderful" group of stock cards with about 150 stamps, both Scott listed and unlisted items. As with all material from this era and area, this probably includes reprints, forgeries or space fillers. Most have been identified (and priced) to some extent, but we will leave it for you to determine their actual value. Estimate = $180.00 $110.00
Great Britain #1/1128. Used Collection of 1840 to 1985 period issues, all Hinged in a Stanley Gibbons printed album. The best items in the collection include #1 and #2, the famous Penny Black and the rare Two Penny Blue. The older (pre-QEII) issues usually top out at the 5 shilling value and you can expect to find a few faults in the mix. The owner's 2021 catalogue value estimate is $8,000.00+. Estimate = $500.00 $325.00
Great Britain #3. "A" to "T" Alphabet Selection. Neatly mounted and arranged used selection of 94 imperforate 1841 issue "Penny Reds", identified and organized for the lower left sheet position letter (A though T). A very decent looking group, unchecked for shades, plate numbers, watermarks, postmarks or other varieties. All valued as just the basic Scott listed stamp so lots of upside for the student of Classic Great Britain. 2024 Scott US$3,055.00 = $4,124.25 $120.00
Great Britain #4e. The "Ivory Head". Irregularly cut but otherwise sound and scarce used strip of three of the 1841 issue Two Penny Blue, showing the "Ivory Head" variety on the reverse (caused by uneven "blueing"). Neatly mounted on an extensively annotated exhibit page. The collector has also determined the stamp to be the "Deep Full Blue" (possibly Scott #4b). Conservatively valued by Scott Classic catalogue as the basic stamp (#4) in a used strip of three. 2024 Scott Classic $425.00 = $573.75 $120.00
Great Britain - About 600 used singles, from at least three older and different sources, and most mounted by plate number. Perfect to build a plate collection or to add to your sheet reconstruction collection. Unchecked for condition or accuracy, but overall coverage should be excellent, including some better plates. Expect some duplication and the odd small fault, but a very interesting group to work on. Estimate = $150.00 $150.00
Great Britain - Early 19th Century Embossed Revenues. Mounted selection of early 1800s period embossed revenues, one for the purchase of a horse, with the vast majority to pay tax on the printing of bibles and prayer books by the Oxford Press. These are signed by John Arnett, the head of the Bible Department at Oxford University Press from 1814 on. 58 pieces in total. Get out your Barefoot catalogue! Estimate = $150.00 $32.00
Great Britain - FDC Holding. Small tub filled with a few hundred primarily late 1970's to early 2000's British Post Office cachet First Day Covers, many of which are still in the original packaging as received from the British Philatelic Bureau and all addressed to the same collector here in British Columbia. Likely largely complete for the period of 1980-2000 but as these are quasi-organized and some un-opened packages, it is a bit hard to tell. Original cost would have easily been several hundred dollars. Estimate = $180.00 $55.00
Great Britain - Lifetime Collection/Accumulation in Three Volumes. Thousands of duplicated 1840 to recent period issue used stamps, covers and Penny Black related "Cinderellas", all packed into three binders. The lot begins with stampless pieces, then multiple Penny Blacks, Blues and Reds, running up through the late QEII period commemoratives. As to be expected in a large accumulation of this type, the condition (of the Victorian era material in particular) the condition is mixed, with faults noted. Take this into account when bidding. This being said, the total theoretical Scott catalogue value for the G, B & U (Good, Bad & Ugly) is in the multiple tens of thousands of dollars. Take a very good look at the scans from the first volume to help determine quality and worth, as the this first volume contains the lion's share of the value. Estimate = $4,000.00 $3,875.00
Great Britain - Offices in the Turkish Empire #4/54. Mint (catalogue US$496.00) and used (catalogue US$272.25) selection of 46 lightly duplicated 1887 to 1921 period Great Britain issues, all overprinted for use in the Turkish Empire. A very colourful offering and a great way to fill those pesky back pages in your Great Britain album. 2024 Scott US$768.25 = $1,037.15 $140.00
Great Britain - Supplies. A trio of Stanley Gibbons brand red "Windsor" springback style albums. Two of the albums are complimenting / matching 1840-1970 period albums, with spaces for all regular issues, regional issues, "back of the book" and Channel Islands for the period each (a very classic album, nice to get two at once). The third album is an unused (empty) album, but comes with two unopened packages of 25 black leaves, specifically printed for these albums. A nice way to showcase a GB collection, with a "blank" album to put in extras or "odd-ball" items that don’t otherwise fit. Estimate = $140.00 $60.00

Hungary - First Day Cover Collection 1963-1976. Approximately 150 cachet First Day Cover, all neatly mounted on colourful pages crammed into a bulging 3" binder. While the album has seen better days, there is a wealth of issues inside, all seemingly from collector in Downsview, Ontario (from the addresses on the envelopes). A very colourful period of Hungarian issues, with many full sets, souvenir sheets and even some imperforate issues. One of the best showing of topical stamps on covers we have seen, with notable sets that feature space, autos, sports, butterflies, flowers etc. Estimate = $150.00 $26.00
Iceland - Collection in Two Volumes. Mint and (mostly) used 1873 to 2011 period collection, housed on 3-ring printed computer generated album pages in two binders. Decent representation throughout, with almost no "TELLUR" (revenue) cancels on the earlier used stamps. A good number of very high-quality stamps noted, from the earlies up to recent (probably upgraded over time by the collector). Apart from the collection of regular issues, there is significant section containing Semi-postals, Airmails and an impressive quantity of duplicates/spares. The owner's hand-written notes show a catalogue value total of over $5,700.00. You'll never get a better chance to begin a collection of this popular Scandinavian North Atlantic island. Estimate = $1,000.00 $425.00
India and States - Amongst our most popular lots are these accumulations of old album pages, dealers’ stock and various purchases that were made and then set aside. This group includes a couple of inches of mounted collections that is strong from Queen Victoria up to early Elizabethan issues, includes "States" , "back of the book" and revenues. There is a second handful of dealer cards, glassines and a retired stockbook (includes some "Bhutan"), plus a bit of Burmese material. Finally, there is a couple of bundles of over 100 cacheted, unaddressed first day covers covering 1960-1969. There is duplication, but also town cancel potential throughout. Estimate = $180.00 $160.00
Indonesia - Not your usual hoard, and it is a hoard! Right from the earliest issues, including perforated and imperforates, including some with overprints, a couple of presentation folders (with 1952 Brussels 1952 and Ottawa 1957 UPU conferences), panes of airmail issues with printing anomalies, mounted collection, stockbook, and a lightly populated Minkus album. Mostly mint but expect duplication. There are modern issues, including some souvenir sheets (appear to be up to about 2012). With some partial panes for West Irian Barat issues. Thousands of stamps here with both good coverage over 50 years. Estimate = $250.00 $110.00
Ireland #65/326. Mainly Very Fine mint Never Hinged (some mint Hinged and used noted also) 1922-1972 period collection of 201 stamps, all still mounted on the original quadrille album pages. The more recent material is almost all complete sets. 2024 Scott US$495.80 = $699.35 $80.00
Israel - Cinderellas and Fund-Raising Labels, Lightly duplicated stock of over 150 illustrated labels, many with tabs. While many of these are 1970s period issues, they are very reminiscent of early precursor material. Exceptional para-philatelic topicals to add to your Israeli collection! Estimate = $150.00 $55.00
Italy #B1/B42, CB3. Mint hinged (mostly) and used selection of 1915-1935 period semi-postal issues, all complete sets (with a few extras). A few minor faults noted, but overall a very useful group, neatly laid out on 2 stockpages. 2024 Scott US$596.90 = $805.80 $60.00
Italy and Area - Accumulation of Italy, with some "States", colonies, Vatican and San Marino, the balance of a large collection that we have been breaking up. Most are auction purchases that were never touched after purchase. A diverse group, noting early 20th century used, mint overprinted for Somalia, back of the book, 1966 presentation folder, Eritrea, a few AMG-FTT overprints, with an old, mounted collection with all kinds of "weird and wonderful". Not a huge pile, but it will take some time for it to give up its secrets. Estimate = $150.00 $120.00
Jamaica #1/270, MR6-MR10, O2. Mint Hinged and used 1860 to 1968 period collection of 236 lightly duplicated stamps, all Hinged on quadrille album pages. A decent sampling of all Reigns noted. 2024 Scott US$479.90 = $647.85 $32.00
Jamaica - Unusual accumulation of mint and used on stock card and album pages, starting with the first set and a very nice run of King George V issues with a bit of King George VI and Elizabethan material up to about 1964. Overall condition is better than average, but a few obviously damaged stamps were not counted. As this material comes from more than one source, a bit of minor duplication is to be expected. Total 2023 Scott US$1151.90 = $1,555.07 $110.00
Japan - An accumulation of unrequited auction and bid board lots with some dealer purchases thrown in. Coveted, acquired, and then set aside, meaning that you will be getting a chance at some interesting material that hasn’t seen the light of day for a generation. The Minkus album with original dust cover has a good selection of mint and used issues stretching over a century up to 1985. There is a smattering of National Parks issues. For more modern stamps, we note a 1976 year set, and mint issues from the 20Y-62Y period, along with an assortment of souvenir sheets and some panes in mixed condition. There are even six complete used sheetlets from Ryukyus A great opportunity here. Estimate = $200.00 $110.00
Korea #132-173. Seldom offered complete mint Never Hinged set of the 1951-1952 "Flags" series. There is some gum toning throughout, which should be taken into consideration when bidding. While the Never Hinged set has a Scott Catalogue value of US$850.00 ($1147.50 CDN), we have conservatively valued this set as Hinged because of the toning. 2024 Scott US$340.00 = $459.00 $95.00
Korea - A mixed offering of both South and North Korea. The South Korean is mint issues on two pages #297/1043, mostly 1960’s issues, including better throughout. these were catalogued at US$500.00 in 2021. The North Korea material has lots of sets and souvenir sheets, issued 1979-2002, with topicals such as fish, athletics, animals, Red Cross, etc. These haven’t been catalogued. A quick check indicates that most of the stamps are Never Hinged. Estimate = $180.00 $55.00
Korea - Goldmine Hoard of "Earlies". Easily the largest and most valuable lot of mint Hinged/Never Hinged and used Korea we've ever handled, this lifetime accumulation contains many thousands of dollars of catalogue value in material running from scarce 19th century classics, through early South Korean sets and singles up through the more modern souvenir sheets. Loaded with numerous $10.00 to $100.00++ Never Hinged individual stamps and sets, large multiples, unlisted imperforates and a smattering of early North Korea, you will also find a useful offering of definitives, commemoratives, airmails, semi-postals and provisional surcharges, all organized on stock sheets and in plastic page protector pockets. The collector who bought these lots never looked at them after purchasing. Nicely organized and presented but expect minor faults and minor duplication. Estimate = $180.00 $110.00

Premium quality used trio of 1937 to 1945 issue souvenir sheets, consisting of the 1937 Dudelange Stamp Show sheet of two, the "Grand Duchess Charlotte" sheet of three and the 1945 "Heroes and Martyrs" sheet of four. A rare used group. 2024 Scott US$461.50 = $623.00 $85.00
Malta - You seldom see "job lots" of Malta, which explains its relatively small size, but wait to you see what is inside. It starts with 14 Great Britain QV issues with "M" or "A25" cancels indicating use in Malta (while these stamps are in mixed condition, their "regular" catalogue value is over $1000.00). These are followed by some album and dealer pages, plus a small group of glassine envelopes with mint sets and some postage dues. Not much past 1970. Don’t wait for the next one. Estimate = $180.00 $60.00
Montserrat #13/74. Lovely pair of sets, including a mint copy of #42 and 18 mint copies of the King George V definitive issue (where there are two stamps, they appear to be different watermarks). The lower Edwardian "Symbol of the Colony" issue is used (some of the higher values are likely cancelled to order), and about the only way that you are going to find them used. Fresh and clean - the 5/- EDVII has a spot of aging on the back that may wash away. We have counted them as the cheapest examples. Total 2023 Scott US$430.30 = $580.91 $110.00
Mozambique Company #1-207 plus Back of the Book. Complete run 1892-1941 issues, mint and used mounted on Scott brand pages, missing only the B1-B7 semi-postal series (offered as separate lot in this sale, but the pages is here for it). 308 Mozambique Company #B1-B7. Complete used set of the sought-after 1917 first semi-postal series of 7 stamps (being an overprint of the Lisbon issue of 1911). There are five dealer stockpages of mint and some classic used issues on a stock card. There is a touch of colonial material with a page of Dutch Indies (including some Japanese occupation issues and overprints), a bit of Curacao and a presentation card for the 1954 Suriname definitives and souvenir sheet. The catalogue value will add up quickly. Estimate = $200.00 $80.00

Of particular note are the many mint and used pre-1900 postal stationery items, followed by a good run of 1950's to 1970's Post Office cachet FDC which would add up quickly in the specialized Netherlands (NVPH) catalogue. Conservatively estimated at 50c per item. Estimate = $150.00 $130.00
Netherlands Antilles #208-229. Complete set of the Queen Juliana 1950-1979 definitive series of 23 stamps, all mint Lightly Hinged with the exception of the 22 ½ c value which is used. Fresh and well centered. The key set of this Dutch Caribbean colony. 2023 Scott US$400.35 = $540.47 $60.00
Netherlands Colonies and Netherlands - The balance of a consignment where the collector would make acquisitions of bidboard lots and from dealers, and then set the material aside without giving it another look. He did have a good eye for interesting material, but bought without consideration of what he already had, so some duplication is to be expected. There are five retired circuit books circa 2006 with Curacao - Netherlands Antilles (4 are APS - retail over US$400.00, and one is Dutch - retail 615 euros). There is a group of "Man in Space" sheets from Suriname (1961) with various printings noted. A nice Netherlands - New Guinea collection starts with some UNTEA overprints and includes some covers of later issues. The "back of the book" includes some semi-postals, life insurance and a mint, never hinged set of the "Arms" postal fiscals ($4.00 -$10.00) plus a partial private "National Mail" booklet. Additionally, there is a 1998 year set in slipcover, along with a sheet of the Emirates America’s Cup team sheet. For reference is a 1946 "Pim’s" catalogue. Gems could be hiding here. 322 Philippines #N7. Stunning mint Never Hinged corner block of the "ONE PESO" overprint high-value Japanese Occupation overprint issue. Seldom seen material from this period. Some minor gum cracking, mentioned "for the record" as this would still be considered well above average for stamps from this period. 2024 Scott US$620.00 = $837.00 $60.00
Portugal and Colonies - From a voracious purchaser, who pursued material at auction houses around the world, and then set his treasures aside, never to be touched again. 338 United Nations - Massive holding of "New Issues" covering all three offices from 1969-2016, most still in their original mailers (and more than a few that were never opened). We saw evidence of singles, sets, souvenir sheets, postal stationery, first day covers, "Christmas cards" (for those with standing orders) and (based on the size of the mailers) some medium sized sheetlets. Inside will be some of the original brochures. Appears to be complete for the period and based on the declared value on the more recent envelopes, we guesstimate that this collector spent more than US$2,000.00 on these issues over the years. Because of the cost of new issues, we don’t see much UN material after 1995, so this is an unusual opportunity. Estimate = $350.00 $260.00

Includes about 4 partial collections on album pages noting a 1945-1967 set of hingeless pages in a tan coloured 18-ring Lindner binder. There are some large mint blocks and panes with a face value over US$50.00. The balance of a collection of minor varieties and coil multiples might still produce some finds. There is "back of the book" everywhere, with some worthwhile precancel material. Also noted a group of Marshall Islands material. The guilty pleasures include curated (or contrived) collections including "Love" (Fleetwood), "History of America" and "Constitutional Bicentennial" first day covers and panels from the Postal Commemorative Society, a folder honouring America’s National Parks and a last booklet for the US Space Program. You will be obtaining these sets at a fraction of their original cost. Estimate = $180.00 $30.00

French New Caledonia issues overprinted for Wallis and Futuna and subsequently re-overprinted "France Libre" to promote the resistance to German occupation of France in World War II. 347 Worldwide - A Baltic hoard of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania some on pages, a bit in an old photo album (stamps appear to be unscathed) and a bit handful of "102" cards. Includes some souvenir sheets, some potential in the back of the book. Mint, used, perforated, imperforate. Most are inter-war issues (only a couple are more recent), the used with some cancel potential. Expect a bit of duplication. Offered "as received". Estimate = $150.00 $95.00
Worldwide - A different take on two cubic feet of kiloware. Over 80% of this box is what you typically expect from locally sourced kiloware. Lots of loose Canada, United States, Great Britain, with some Western European and Australia amongst many other countries, mostly from 1960 to the early 2000s. However, there are "bags within bags" of older on-paper stamps, which are circa 1950 including Canada (noted a number of 1946 Peace "Ferry" dollars), Great Britain (lots of revenues), and potentially better from around the world. Just turning over the bags will make you say: "There definitely could be some better here". Estimate = $180.00 $70.00
Worldwide - A Japan-heavy accumulation of material from Asia. Includes souvenir sheets, wholesale used, album pages and a retired approval booklet. There is some China (including an early perfin multiple, and a bit of PRC). There is also a touch of Thailand, Vietnam and 18 cancelled to order sets of the Kampuchea airmails of 1984 (catalogues $153.00), plus a page of North Korea souvenir sheets. Some mixed condition, some duplication, offered as received. Estimate = $150.00 $80.00
Worldwide - Album pages by the thousand! The good news is that most of them are contained in three "Regal" binders circa 1960, with thousands of worldwide stamps. The remaining space in this U-Haul box is filled with three bundles of more album pages, dealer stock pages and cards. It’s hard to find distinct themes here, but the best is probably European material, but with bits and pieces of many other countries. The balance of a consignment, "as received". Estimate = $150.00 $110.00
Worldwide - An eclectic "thinking philately outside the box" small plastic bin (somewhat ironically), filled with a collector's wide array of stamps, ephemera and literature. Interesting items at each turn here, which include a "dealer binder" with various stamps and postcards, an old-time stamp collectors "beginner kit", several packages of worldwide covers (including SCADTA Colombia covers), USA mail tag, maps, pamphlets, postcards, British mint stamp packs, Portuguese mint Post Office presentation folders, bound air-post journals, Yang catalogue of PRC China, catalogue of Hong Kong stamps and Postal Stationery, catalogue of picture postcards (1997) etc. A wild ride for any intrepid collector. Estimate = $150.00 $55.00
Worldwide - An untamed consignment of Western Europe (no Scandinavia), with lots of value, but not much order, the result of multiple purchases, but very little organization. In no particular order, there is a bundle of Spain souvenir sheets circa 2013, large blocks of mint West Germany, a stockpage of Switzerland, Luxembourg, a nice page of used Belgium, 1965-1967 Lindner East Germany hingeless pages with lots of used stamps, a card with a trio of nice early used Austria, a nice padded 48-page Lighthouse stockbook with E. Germany, individual stock or album pages of Austria, Germany, Italy, Andorra, and a touch of Liechtenstein, plus a bit of loose and multi-country pages (includes a bit of colonial material). Awaiting your patient sorting skills. Estimate $170.00 $230.00
Worldwide - Balance of a consignment fills a banker’s box. About half of the lot is off-paper loose in four chocolate boxes, with Belgium, Scandinavia, USA and a couple more that are just "Worldwide". Thousands of stamps here. There are a couple of inches of approval pages that never got finished, a couple of Ziplok bags packed with glassines, small stockcards and more loose stamps. Noted a couple of nice Italian groups on card (one postage due, other AMG overprints). For those who seek value in chaos! Estimate = $170.00 $200.00
Worldwide - Bankers box from an estate clean up, compiled by a family member which put in great effort to collect every stamp around the house. Because of this effort, many collectors will benefit from the thousands upon thousands of stamps that came out of each one of these boxes of loose material that was just "lying around". We have been selling these boxes for a few months, and we believe that this is the last of them. What makes these boxes stand out is the diversity of the material, with a mix of common and less common material, with both mint and used, stamps, sets and souvenir sheets and a healthy amount of "back of the book" material, such as cinderellas and revenues. We also know that these lots were completely unpicked as there was non-philatelic material (e.g. pens, buttons, spare change) that we fished out. Your last chance from this holding. Estimate = $150.00 $130.00
Worldwide - Bankers Box of Buried Treasure. This box is packed with mostly off paper stamps from dozens of different countries, including more souvenir sheets than are normally seen in lots like this. Something that we do know is buried are a pair of red dealer’s boxes filled with "102 cards", but even these appear to be randomly ordered, consistent with the rest of the box. There are about 1500 cards alone in red boxes, most of which have cards with light pencil markings which can be easily erased. Tens of thousands of stamps here. Many hours of fun here and make friends at your local stamp club with whatever you don’t need! Estimate = $150.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Belgium/Hungary/Jugoslavia/Romania/Russia. European (and a bit of Asia if you count parts of Russia) themed quintet of country collections/selections, all laid out on stock sheets and stock cards. The Hungary section includes the Roosevelt semi-postal and airmail semi-postal souvenir sheets (these alone catalogue US$250.00) plus much more, for a Hungarian catalogue total of over US$600.00 alone. The Russian section has the largest volume of stamps, followed by the Belgium, Romania and Jugoslavia. A useful lot for the worldwide collector wanting to fill some of the holes in their albums. Estimate = $350.00 $75.00
Worldwide - Broad assortment of Asia material nicely displayed on various stockpages. There are several pages of modern used Japan (over US$400.00 catalogue value), as well as a selection of older Japan in the usual mixed condition. Thailand has both used classics and a page of mint issues c.1991. There is some Kampuchea CTO with topical interest, a couple of pages each of mint Laos and Taiwan and some early 1990’s mint Indonesia. Finally, the lot finishes with a page of Japanese occupation in Burma (including some likely "Peacock" overprint forgeries). Estimate = $180.00 $80.00
Worldwide - Broad Scandinavian accumulation from early classics to recent. In order of the pile, there is a small, mounted collection of Finland back of the book, with some Karelia, a nice quartet of used Danish West Indies on piece, a small collection of mint Iceland, a stockpage of used Norway, a page of circa 2000 Iceland souvenir sheets and a folder with large blocks of mint Iceland from the 1960’s. There is a 1983 Faroe Islands year folder, some large mint blocks of revalued Denmark, a trio of used official overprints on Iceland’s "Parliament" stamps, another used card of high value, but damaged, Danish West Indies. There is a small, mounted collection of used Norway, some mint Greenland, a couple of pages of complete Sweden booklets, ending with a small group of used Denmark on three stockpages. Significant catalogue value here. Estimate = $200.00 $170.00
Worldwide - Canada/USA Massive Used Stock in Two Cartons. Two U-Haul boxes packed with many thousands of mostly used stamps in stock books, numerous glassines and several albums. The Canadian material begins with late Victorian issues up through the 1990s period. The US material, also beginning in the late 1900s, is in a couple of albums and also in a quantity of glassines. Lots of material to sort through here! Estimate = $200.00 $70.00
Worldwide - Cinderellas from Canada and United States. A significant hoard in five distinct sections. 1) A mounted collection of Christmas Seals from both countries from 1909-1994. 2) A small binder with progressive colour proofs from about 20 different issues (TB and Easter seals). 3) A binder loaded with large blocks and complete panes of various seals from 1941-2002 4) A Filex stockbook filled with a wide range of US, Canadian and a bit of European labels. 5) The box is lined with nicely sorted duplicate stock (mostly TB seals) from Canada and the US, including a few that are still in their original "appeal" envelope. A great holding to be sorted. Estimate = $375.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Consignment balance with three or four worldwide collections including a Senior Statesman album with a few thousand stamps. There are also a couple of older mid-sized collections with fewer stamps, but with more "classics". There are three stockbooks (2x 16-page and one 32-page) with stamps from Germany, Austria, Poland and Romania. The remaining third of the box is filled with loose material from this collector that doesn’t fit anywhere, including old bid-board lots, dealer cards, glassines, with some miscellaneous album and stock pages. Undoubtedly this will take some work to organize, but there is potential throughout. Estimate = $170.00 $160.00
Worldwide - Densely packed bankers box with stockbooks full of non-European material. Most are one country per stockbook. Saw Bermuda, Fujeira, Umm al Qiwain, Ras al Khaimah, Pakistan, Togolaise, Trinidad and Tobago, Peru, Indonesia, India, Mongolia, Singapore, Philippines, Belize, Tanzania, Malaysia and the small stockbook has Zambia. The covers of the stockbooks are a bit battered, and the country name is written on most of the spines. There are thousands of stamps here, more used than mint, and most are common. However, there will be hours of fun and some stockbooks that still get the job done. Estimate = $200.00 $200.00
Worldwide - Eastern Europe assortment, perfect for the collector or dealer with broad interests. In no particular order is a nicely mounted collection of 19th century Romania that you will have to figure out "fact from fiction". A couple of pages have 1946 Lithuania Red Cross stamps and cards plus some material from the Baltic Displace Person’s Exposition. There is a bit of Czechoslovakian "proofs" and overprints, a half pane of revalued Estonian imperforates, some intriguing Russian, Romanian and Baltic states material. Hungary includes a 1949 souvenir sheet and an extensive presentation booklet from the 1952 UPU Conference in Brussels. There is a generic presentation folder of Poland (for tourists?), four retired circuit books from Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Russia, Romania (remaining retail over C$300.00 in 2013), a mostly used Bulgaria in a 32-page stockbook and Bulgaria Borek album pages (includes some Baltic to go with the Bulgaria). Value and exploration here! Estimate = $250.00 $80.00
Worldwide - Eastern European accumulation, the balance of a consignment. Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, Russia/Soviet Union, Hungary, Tannu Tuva, Czechoslovakia, Romania, and even some nice Mongolia (not technically Europe, but it seems to fit with this group) etc. The biggest includes an old stockbook of Poland, 30 manila stockpages with Hungary, an older holding of Romania on black stockpages and a stockbook with an offering of classic Romania. There are also a big couple of handfuls of stockpages, glassines, folders, etc of assorted sets, singles and a few souvenir sheets. Most on the original bid board and auction pages when originally purchased. Estimate = $180.00 $120.00
Worldwide - Europe (and some colonies) accumulation. A bit of a hodge podge, we noted a nice Austria Minkus brand album with over 1100 stamps, a group of military usages and a mint sheet file with larger panes. There is a collection of mint Saar semi-postals unfortunately stuck to their pages (would have been over $1000.00 catalogue value). There are stock cards with Italy and States, Portugal and Madeira. Switzerland includes some "classics", a couple of retired approval booklets and some presentation folders. There is a bit of Liechtenstein in mixed condition and finishes with a mix of generally more modern Portugal and Spain in envelopes. Lots of unusual material here, with lots of exploration ahead for the purchaser. Estimate = $250.00 $150.00
Worldwide - Home Depot box of mostly single country collections which are the balance of a consignment that we have been selling over the past few months. Some are on stockpages, others in printed albums. Overall there are more used than mint. Includes Yemen, Switzerland (1940-80), Paraguay, Mauritius, San Marino (in an older Minkus album), Northern Rhodesia/Nyasaland/Zimbabwe, Great Britain ("Windsor" springback with 1970’s-1980’s definitive pages including regionals) and a FDC album with early 1970’s presentation packs, India and States, plus a French collection without a binder. There are a few smaller stockbooks including some British colonies, Liechtenstein and Liberia. A World War Two-themed "V for Victory" topical collection (mostly Canada) rounds out this lot. Estimate = $150.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Massive Used Stock in Two Cartons. Two U-Haul boxes packed with many thousands of mostly used stamps in stock books, numerous glassines and albums. Offered intact as received. 368 Worldwide - Northern Africa and the Middle East, from the balance of a consignment. Old bid board lots, dealer purchases, partial collections. Strongest is Ethiopia, with decent Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and Lebanon, Morocco (with a 1976 presentation stockbook), Syria, Iran, Yemen and a touch of "Dune" material. All purchased and then never touched again. The estimate is a fraction of what the collector originally paid for these. Estimate = $180.00 $110.00
Worldwide - One of the remainder boxes of loose material swept up (figuratively, we hope) from a collector’s stamp room. Includes loose on and off paper, a number of "102" and other dealer sleeves. A number of souvenir sheets, plus more revenue and cinderella material than you normally see. Mostly 20th century material, with some better items likely in hiding, along with nice cancels. These boxes can be tough to get a sense of, but we know that you will find lots of value here. Estimate = $140.00 $130.00
Worldwide - Outstanding floral topical collection and accumulation in four binders on about 150 (mostly) Vario-brand pages and arranged by country and then chronologically. Most of the world’s countries are represented here (as everyone seems to depict flowers at one time or another). There is a good mix of mint and used, with many sets, some souvenir sheets and the occasional presentation pack, with there likely being 4,000 stamps here. Includes album pages/exhibit and a shoebox with material that the collector never got around to integrating and a Fleetwood set of FDCs for the 1983 US Birds and Flowers issue. Mostly 20th century material but saw bits and pieces into the new millennium. Significant effort and expense went into assembling this collection. Estimate = $350.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Pair of U-Haul moving boxes, containing three large plastic containers with a large off paper worldwide holding, sorted by country into individual envelopes, plus a small box of loose Spain. An extensive accumulation, with material from about 100 countries. Some envelopes are full to the point of spilling over the sides, but within each country there doesn’t appear to be much order. Mostly 20th century material and a quick glance indicated that there are lots of stamps with character here (and potential value). Thousands and thousands of stamps here. Estimate = $150.00 $110.00
Worldwide - Scandinavian themed group that includes classics, modern, complete booklets, year sets and more, the balance of a consignment, with the value being fairly evenly spaced among the countries included. Greenland has a complete run of 1980’s year set folders (2003 Scott $180.60). There are a half dozen complete booklets from Norway. Finland has two stockcards and a stockpage of assorted pre-1960 stamps. The Iceland includes a few black stockcards and a small pocket stockbook with lots of earlier issues, plus a mounted collection of 1980’s mint and used and a 1991 year set folder. Sweden includes 50 complete booklets, a couple used stamps from the 1924 UPU set and an assortment of official stamps. The booklets from all countries are generally circa 1998, but the Swedish ones go back to the early 1970’s. A Northern bundle of fun. Estimate = $250.00 $65.00
Worldwide - Slovakia, Montenegro, Serbia, Serbia. A quartet of mounted collections (3 on very old pages, the Croatia on black stockpages). A mix of mint and used, with decent coverage with some later printings and overprints. A few souvenir sheets are in the mix, but this has the basis to become a more specialized collection. Ignore the pricing notes in the margins (we think that they are in lira!). Overall condition is fresh, and there is very little duplication. Great exploratory lot. Estimate = $150.00 $65.00
Worldwide - Small but interesting balance of a postcard collection. The most fascinating is a bundle of about 20 real photo post cards that appear to be Alberta (a couple are used and cancelled "Strathcona, Alta"). The rest are a mix of family pictures or outdoor scenes with only cursory information that will require more research. The book includes a different topic every few pages, starting with British and French performers, a number of chrome "Traveltime" postcards that feature maps, some US tourist (e.g. Hollywood, Disneyland and National Parks), some postcards, inserts and ad cards for commercial products and ending with a group of elaborate "Bird" themed postcards with added fabric "plumage" and "feathers" that are both gorgeous and must have caused havoc in mechanical cancelling machines. A total of 115 post cards. Estimate = $140.00 $55.00
Worldwide - Small format stockbooks "new old stock" group of 7 unused, still in plastic wrap Uni-Safe brand 16-page, 6 ½" x 8 ¼" books (about half the size of a standard stockbook) in green, blue, red, brown and black (all with white pages). These books are increasingly tough to find for those who use them, long discontinued. Retail on these 15 years ago was about $20 per book. Estimate = $100.00 $75.00
Worldwide - This balance of a consignment filling a U-Haul box. There are lots of album pages (loose, about 3 inches worth of mostly Europe), followed by binders includes a nice Scott International binder with decidedly non-Scott quadrilled pages, along with a "Modern" album and a "Premier" worldwide album each with lots of stamps throughout. A white binder holds about 25 black stockpages and another binder has lots of "A" to "F" countries mounted on pages (lots of QEII Canada here. A 32-page stockbook has a nice offering of Hungary (and some Austrian) town cancels. Finally, there is a bag filled with stock pages, dealer cards, glassine envelopes etc. with lots of goodies to help you round out this treasure chest. Estimate = $200.00 $65.00
Worldwide - This collector took their set of Scott International albums and pulled out the "A" to "J" countries that were of prime interest and put them in three volumes. So, we have a trio of Scott International binders with pages between 1940-1992, that are laden with stamps (more used than mint). Countries present include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China (including some PRC and Taiwan), Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Iceland, India (with some "States"), Ireland and Japan. Lots of interesting material, which will make the catalogue value add up quickly. Estimate = $300.00 $210.00
Worldwide - Three Kings (with some family). Includes Tut, Charles and Elvis. These are all commemorative albums that were marketed with an investment edge to them, meaning the purchasers took a bath. But because there is some artistic and philatelic interest to these, you can pick them up 40+ years later at a fraction of their original price. The King Tut gold foil stamps were produced for the non-UPU Staffa Island (Scotland), and 40 productions are individually described in two custom-made binders (original cost US$800.00!!!). The "King of Rock and Roll" includes a Postal Commemorative Society folder and a couple that are in the size and shape of a vinyl record (they might be duplicates), and a few commemorative covers (mostly focused on the US Elvis issue). The balance is from the British Royal Family with stamps (1972 Wedding anniversary - White Ace, 1977 Silver Jubilee - White Ace, 1977 Silver Jubilee (booklets) - Prangnell, 1977 Silver Jubilee Royal Caribbean tour, 1978 Coronation Silver Jubilee - sheetlets of six, 1981 the future King (Charles) and Diana Wedding). First Day covers are 1977 Silver Jubilee - one booklet of "official" first day covers, the other with "Westminster Collectors Society" cachets and ending with about 15 FDCs from the 1982 Royal Wedding Anniversary. Estimate = $150.00 $70.00
Worldwide - Two U-Haul box clear out of a massive collection that we have been dispersing for the past few years. Box one is a mix of mostly mounted material on dealer, album and stock pages, plus a box of small cards and glassine envelopes. We noted pockets of Sudan (including some airmail), Canal Zone, United States, Marshall Islands, Monaco and Greece. The second box is half full of bags of loose on and off paper stamps (most appear to be a bit sorted), the other half is many folded sheets of mint Turkish postal tax stamps from the 1940’s which are by the handful and there may only be two designs (you have been warned)!!! Many of these groups were bought as auction or bidboard lots many years ago, and untouched since purchasing. Estimate = $250.00 $85.00
Worldwide - U-Haul box duo with box "on and off" paper. The off paper seems to be the majority of the total volume in these boxes and includes a selection of worldwide sorted by country, followed by individual small boxes of United States, Great Britain and a couple of bundles of envelopes with modern Australia and Japan (mostly definitives). The balance is mostly Canadian on-paper with sections of both modern and 1940’s-50’s. Lots of town cancels seen here. Many thousands of stamps that will make for a very long weekend’s work! Estimate = $180.00 $60.00
Worldwide - Vietnam (both North and South), Thailand, Cambodia, and Korea (both North and South). The balance of a consignment that includes issues from the 1940’s into the 1980’s. A mix of mint and used, with some souvenir sheets and even a few banknotes from Cambodia. Often former auction lots or dealer purchases. Set aside after purchasing, so you will be getting these unpicked. Hundreds of stamps, with value to be hiding throughout. Estimate = $200.00 $120.00
Worldwide - Europe - Eleven stockbooks (6 are 32-page, 5 are 16-page), most being Uni-Safe or Lighthouse brand with one country per stockbook. Includes Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Malta, Monaco, Norway and France. The coverage is mostly used from the 20th century, but with some better stamps here and there, plus lots of great cancels. Duplication is light. Bonus item is a binder with a used Belgium collection mounted on computer-generated pages covering 1968-1999. The covers of the stockbooks are in mixed condition, but they are still very functional. Estimate = $180.00 $150.00
Worldwide - Latin America - Mounted collections, stock cards, "102" cards, and a bit of loose material, all from a balance of a consignment. Nicaragua, Honduras, Cuba, Mexico, Brazil (1972 "modern art" souvenir sheet), Paraguay, Guatemala, Haiti, Panama, Bolivia, etc. Mint, used, souvenir sheets and a few larger sheetlets in a mint sheet file. This collector liked the pursuit of the acquisition and wasn’t so big into organizing, so most of this lot is untouched since it was first purchased. Estimate = $150.00 $180.00
Worldwide Cinderella Stamps - Cinderellas, labels, poster stamps, revenues, ephemera. It’s unclear if this was a collector’s accumulation or the start of a dealer’s stock, but regardless there is a trove of Canadian and American, with a bit of European thrown in. Includes charity, social, philatelic events, most are singles, but with a bundle of larger blocks or panes, and includes a couple in their original folders. The bulk of this grouping is in "102 cards" - about 1-1/2 red dealer boxes worth. Probably a couple thousand "stamps" here. Expect some duplication and mixed condition as always. Estimate = $200.00 $75.00
Worldwide Covers - Balance of a consignment of covers filling a U-Haul box with strength in Canada. We note a box of Elizabethan Great Britain, a couple of albums with interesting, mostly Great Britain and Canada. The Canada includes some dog team covers, others from Northern Canada and three covers each with the scarce "Keats Island, BC" duplex cancel. There are some Northern Canada town cancels, a small bundle of Disney First Day covers may appeal to the topical collector, event covers, a few postal stationery and a bit of early greeting post cards. There is a bit of common material, such as a collection of 37c-43c era Canada covers and some British covers. Some are mounted, some are in cover albums and some are loose. The bonus items here is a small group of Post Office hardware from the Salmon Arm BC Post Office, including a couple of heavy meter and receiving brass-faced slugs. Estimate = $150.00 $32.00
Worldwide Literature - 2015 Scott Catalogues. Complete set of 2015 Scott International stamp catalogues, all in very clean "nearly new" ex-library condition. There have been no major price changes between the 2015 and 2024 catalogues. As such, this set is still very useful for valuing most material and the numbers don't really change. New, these volumes would retail for well over $1,400.00. The Scott catalogue numbering system is the most universally recognized stamp numbering system used today. Estimate = $150.00 $40.00
Worldwide Postcards - Bankers box STUFFED with worldwide postcards as accumulated from the estate of a postcard dealer. Much of this looks to be "to process" and although seems to be mostly chromes at first glance, there are many pockets of better material throughout. Strength in Canada, USA, UK, France and "Greetings" , with everything from Real Photo Postcards to modern Chromes. Easily 2000 cards here, which should present a wonderful sort for any postcard enthusiast. Estimate = $250.00 $90.00
Worldwide Postcards - Extensive collection of prolific American postcard artist Ellen Clapsaddle (1865-1934), with 325 mostly different postcards issued 1906 to the start of the Great War. Themes include US Patriotic, Christmas, New Year, Birthdays, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Valentines Day, with the classic artistry that defined this genre. Includes a one-page biography of her life, an artist who deserves (in our opinion) more recognition. The cards are a mix of mint and used. There are a few "face similar" cards, but they may be from different printings. The conditions is a bit mixed, but most are eye catching and in great shape. Estimate = $400.00 $140.00
Worldwide Postcards - Greeting Postcard Hoard. Wonderful holding that features Christmas and Easter (142 cards), St. Patrick’s Day (304 cards) and Thanksgiving (65 cards), totaling over 500 different printed postcards in three postcard albums. All appear to be pre-1925 with beautiful and classic motifs (Santa Claus, religious, Ireland, shamrocks, turkeys, etc). A mix of mint and used, from both the United States and Canada. In most cases, the way they are mounted, we can’t tell if there are better cancels or destinations. However, the picture side of these cards is spectacular, and the condition is better than average. A labour of love to assemble, and a great way to expand your collection or stock. Estimate = $300.00 $160.00
Worldwide Postcards - Greeting postcards (e.g. holidays) in three albums and a file box, sorted by artist and manufacturer (and often grouped by set). Most numerous are International Art Publishing Co (100, both with numbering and without), Wolf & Co (25), Margaret Tarrant (24, various publishers) and smaller quantities from Curtis (Tuck), Feinberg, Brundage, Wessler, Davidson Bros and Julius Bien. Mostly American, some British. A mix of mint and used, with overall condition being quite good, and amazing eye appeal. Over 275 post cards, with very little duplication. Estimate = $200.00 $80.00
Worldwide Postcards - Humorous Topical Postcards. A hoard of 450 mostly from Canada, United States and Great Britain, from about 1910 to 1930 (with a few more recent). Includes "saucy seaside" postcards, and cutsie Kewpie, and Dutch children apparently speaking with European accents. A mix of mint and used, we suspect that there will be some worthwhile cancels to be found. Almost no duplication, this is the work of a serious deltiologist, so expect that there will be artists, manufacturers and sets to be built on. The albums that they are in are damaged, but you won’t care when you see these cards. Estimate = $250.00 $120.00
Worldwide Supplies - Bankers box containing three hundred used manila stockpages, with the majority being relatively new, lightly used and in excellent condition (that being said, there are a few quite worn, but still usable). The majority still have stamps in them, as they fulfilled the usual duty of holding duplicates, dealer stock or material awaiting integration into the main collection. While there are some exceptions, expect the stamps to be mostly used and mostly common. Strength is from Canada, Great Britain and Australia. If you were to buy the manila stockpages new, they would set you back over $375.00. There are thousands of stamps to plow through too, which were not considered in our estimated value, which is conservatively for the pages alone. Estimate = $160.00 $95.00
Worldwide Supplies - Bankers Box of stockbooks / deluxe 3-ring albums. A very useful offering of 10 stockbooks (various makes, sizes), plus three Lighthouse brand deluxe 3-ring binders (two with slipcases). A very useful group, considering the ever-rising cost of philatelic supplies. We noted that four of the stockbooks are for "blocks" having 4-lines, which don't come along as often. Still lots of life left in this group, just ready to be "put back in the game". Estimate = $140.00 $110.00
Worldwide Supplies - Bankers box of useful philatelic supplies, lightly used. A varied lot, which includes 10 standard size stockbooks of various makes, 4 small size stockbooks (again, various makes), 40 manila stockpages, small cover album, a couple mint sheet files, two colour guides, a couple partially opened packs of hinges and DOZENS of partially opened packages of mounts (various makes, clear and black). A great "working group" at a fraction of the original cost. Estimate = $120.00 $150.00
Worldwide Supplies - Bankers box with fourteen assorted used stockbooks. Most are Uni-Safe, but includes Lighthouse, Edelweis and a few with no obvious branding. Eleven are 16-page, with red, green, black and blue covers. There is an older 20-page stockbook with a brown cover, and a navy-blue 32-page stockbook. The lot finishes with a brown covered 64-page stockbook, with a battered cover, but still functioning interior. Most of the stockbooks still have their original contents, which is mostly more common (used). Some of the album covers have some label residue that should come off easily. Significant original cost. Estimate = $160.00 $120.00
Worldwide Supplies - Box lot of used supplies, with lots of life left in them. Includes a pair of deluxe 3-ring albums, two green Stanley Gibbons "Senator" springback albums with blank quadrille pages, a dealer "red 102 box", small lighthouse cover album, 16-page Lighthouse stockbook for blocks (4 lines per page), Uni-Safe "Matched Block Album", old-time Schaubek "Scandinavia" album (a classic album to cover all of Scandinavia to 1959), 3x packs of glassine interleaving pages, a pack of quadrille pages, pack of Stanley Gibbons "simplex" pages and several 8 small format stockbooks. The "as new" cost of this group would be substantial, with several of these items not being produced any longer. Estimate = $140.00 $150.00
Worldwide Supplies - Cover / First Day Cover Stockbooks. A reasonably used selection of 12 cover albums, 11 of which are Uni-Safe brand, with one "odd man out" Lighthouse brand. A nice group of cover albums, 9 of which are matching style Uni-Safe albums that carry 100 covers each and retail for around $25 each! A nice chance to put away over 1000 covers, without paying retail pricing for the albums. Estimate = $120.00 $120.00
Worldwide Supplies - U-Haul box filled with albums, including 5 deluxe Uni-Safe brand padded 3-ring binders (two with matching slipcases) and 3 Uni-Safe brand First Day Cover albums (two with matching slipcases). A good lot for someone looking to save some money on buying lightly used supplies rather than paying retail prices for new. Estimate = $120.00 $70.00
Worldwide Supplies - Used supplies for both cover and stamp collectors filling two U-Haul boxes. The cover supplies include a few older UniSafe "Dual" FDC albums (a couple with slipcovers), with a nice Lighthouse FDC album, plus a couple of binders of pages suitable for storing covers or post cards. The stamp supplies include a Lembert 6-ring binder with white stock pages with 3-6 strips, plus a loose stack of Vario, Lighthouse and Hagner branded pages and small stockbook is in good condition. Additionally, there are three albums a) an older red 2-post Schaubek binder b) a regular Davo "Great Britain" with pages 1970-1990 and c) a Canada Lindner hingeless album with pages 1972-1983 (small scuff on cover). Finishes with a few bits of loose accessories (e.g. light, small mount cutter, etc.). Estimate = $180.00 $50.00
Yugoslavia - Specialized collection from 1919 up to about 1992 on 40 Vario-brand stockpages. You will need both your Scott and Michel (and maybe more) to get these all sorted out, but the owner did an excellent job of selecting and organizing the material, along with helpful notes for you to make sense of this. Includes non-Scott listed varieties including imperforates and local overprints. There is more mint than used, and the used have often been selected for readable cancels. The "back of the book" section is well stocked, and there are a few (more recent) covers and a couple of pages of duplicates at the back. Otherwise, you are looking at a thorough, logical, attractive and interesting group, where the catalogue values are going to add up quickly. Estimate = $200.00 $130.00
