Australian States - New South Wales #2, 3, 8, 9. Quarter of used 1850-1851 "Seal of the Colony" imperforate issues. A very tidy offering of these elusive issues. The example of #3 has a thin on the bottom, but still quite presentable. 2024 Scott US$1370.00 = $1,849.50 $22.00
Australian States - New South Wales #51, 53, 55, 56. Used quartet of 1875-1881 QV issues, from 4p to 20sh values. The 2sh6p has a revenue (fiscal) cancel and is valued as such (listed as "fiscal cancellation" in Scott catalogue). A very attractive assembly. 2024 Scott US$520.75 = $703.00 $10.00

Australian States - New South Wales #76. Fine Mint Hinged example of the 10sh QV "POSTAGE" overprint (in blue) on "white paper" issue. A stunning example of this sought-after stamp. 2024 Scott US$350.00 = $472.50 $10.00

Canada #11. The rare 1858 half penny rose perforated pence issue, Fine/VF used. Reasonably cancelled and typically centered for this provisionally perforated stamp. Only issued for a very short period of time and missing from most collections we see. What makes this one so special is the original 1936 Royal Philatelic Society of London certificate which accompanies it. One of the oldest certificates we have seen in some time! 2024 Scott US$1,500.00 = $2,025.00 $130.00
Canada #14/20. Attractive used offering of 9x 1859 "First Cents" issues and the 1864 QV issue 2c rose, including shades neatly arranged on a stockcard. Some pretty stamps here, including a well above average example of #19 (Cartier) and "American Bank Note Co. New York" inscription copy of #20 (QV 2c rose). 2024 Scott US$1677.50 = $2,264.65 $10.00
Canada #15, 18, 19. Trio of F/VF used "Cents" issues, including the 5c vermillion Beaver, 12 ½ c Victoria and 17c Cartier. A nice start to completing a used set of this series, with the 12 ½ c Victoria having far better centering than is usually seen. 2024 Scott US$412.50 = $612.90 $10.00
Canada #15/215. Accumulation of over 150 early used Canada, with better throughout, and nice cancels amongst the more common material. Starts with 4 attractive copies of #15 (including a pair), and a fresh-looking copy of #18. There are a couple of Large Queens (all significantly damaged items in this lot are mounted inverted and not counted), followed by a nice range of Small Queens, Jubilees, Leafs and Numerals (with two 20c singles) and four "Maps". The KEVII includes a 50c single and a strip of six of the 10c. This is followed by a 1908 issue 20c Quebec, GeoV Bluenose and Parliament dollar which then give way to some solid KGV material including a perfinned 4c Scroll and a used plate block of 24 of the 10c Windsor from the 1935 Silver Jubilee set. Build your collection, or cherry pick the best to upgrade your collection. Total 2023 Scott US$2371.50 = $3,201.53 $22.00
Canada #21/41. Mounted group of 61 Large Queens / Small Queens on cut-down collector pages. An interesting showing, which are extensively described by the previous owner with perfs, shades and papers noted (using Stanley Gibbons numbers). While there might be the odd small fault, overall this is a very clean offering, just waiting to be explored further. Many choice individua stamps throughout. Estimate = $250.00 $10.00
Canada #22, 22b. Attractive F/VF used examples of the 1868 issue 1c red brown on both on regular and thin papers. Nice to get them both at once to compare, with the thin paper appearing almost "transparent" from the back. 2024 Scott US$300.00 = $405.00 $10.00
Canada #26a. VF used example of the 1875 issue 5c olive green Large Queen exceedingly rare perf 12 x 12. Considered by many to be the key Large Queen value. Missing from most collections, with this example being one of the nicest we have seen! 2024 Scott US$1,000.00 = $1,350.00 $32.00
Canada #34/242. Wild and woolly accumulation of mint Canada from the Small Queens through the King George V era on three stock pages. There is a wide range of issues, including their quantity and condition. However, the overall appearance is generally decent. The gum condition on these issues is all over the place, with some being never hinged (such as many of the Scroll issues) while others have hinge remnants (including some reinforcement done on the blocks). Substantial catalogue value here. Those badly damaged or with no gum have been mounted upside down and are not considered in our estimated value. Estimate = $180.00 $13.00
Canada #34/45. Used Small Queen study group on a trio of black stock pages. Offered as received by us, from both the Montreal and Ottawa printings with a wide range of shades, sizes with some nice cancellations. We noted a couple with some offset on the gum side and possible perforation differences and re-entries to be found throughout. Set aside by a collector to one day sort, but that day never came. The only thing that we have verified is that the condition is above average for material of this type. Catalogued as the cheapest listing for each stamps, so plenty of upside once sorted. Total 2023 Scott US$1272.75 = $1,718.21 $19.00
Canada #37, 41. Offered "as received" and unresearched, all used accumulation of 3c Small Queens, consisting of 1207 stamps, all neatly arranged on stockpages. Note earlier and later printings of both stamps and a wide range of postmarks including Squared Circles, CDS, corks, duplexes, fancy cancels, etc. Could be some decent finds here for the "flyspecker" or Small Queen student. All the stamps have been laid out on Vario stock sheets to facilitate viewing. A wonderful opportunity for the Small Queen collector. Estimate = $400.00 $110.00
Canada #50/60. Used Jubilee starter lot with values to 50c. Most with light, readable cancels, including the 10c used with a Nelson, BC split ring cancel and the 50c used from Brandon MB (minor foxing). A couple of the stamps might be mint no gum, but are counted as used. The 6c has a thin and is not counted in the total catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$940.50 = $1,269.68 $10.00
Canada #51/680 plus Back of the Book. Neatly arranged 99% used selection of 857 stamps, neatly arranged on Darnell pages (mostly within mounts) within a binder. A decent run of material, which includes complete runs of the QV "Leaf", QV "Numeral" and "Edwards", as well as partial sets of the QV Jubilee, Tercentenary etc. Interspersed are the "back of the book" items, including Postage Due, Special Delivery and Officials. Expect a few minor faults, especially in the earlier material. Catalogues at over US$2500.00. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Canada #52/514. Nice collection of used material on Minkus pages, starting with the 2c Jubilee and running to 1970. Includes QV Leaf to 10c, Numeral to 20c, KEVII to 50c, Quebec to 20c, and most of the dollar values. Lots of back of the book, including air mail, special delivery, postage due and officials (both perfin and overprinted). There is some duplication as the collector attempted to find shades, dies, papers, booklet singles, coils, etc. Overall condition is excellent. The catalogue value will be substantial. Estimate = $250.00 $0.00
Canada #56, 57, 59, 60. F/VF quartet of mid-value 1897 QV Jubilee issues, each with a matching "UNION STN, TORONTO" roller cancel. Overall centering is well above average, a tough to assemble group of matching postmarks, sure to elevate any QV used collection. 2024 Scott US$570.00 = $769.50 $0.00
Canada #60ii. VF+ unused (no gum) large margined used example of the Unitrade listed pale blue ("powder blue") shade of the 50c Queen Victoria Jubilee. Beautifully centered. One shortish perf on the bottom mentioned "for the record". This shade is unlisted in Scott catalogue. 2024 Unitrade = $800.00 $22.00
Canada #61. Fine used example of the 1897 issue $1.00 lake Jubilee, with attractive "UNION STN, TORONTO 1" roller cancel. A decent high value Jubilee, with good colour. 2024 Scott US$700.00 = $945.00 $32.00

Canada #63. Fine / Very Fine used example of the 1897 issue $3.00 yellow bistre QV Jubilee. Light indistinct cancel (likely a roller from parcel use). A decent high value Jubilee, with better centering than usually seen. 2024 Scott US$1000.00 = $1,350.00 $60.00
Canada #64. Fine+ used example of the 1897 issue $4.00 purple QV Jubilee. Very tidy partial Toronto CDS cancel, leaving a full and clear view of both the QV portraits. A very respectable example of this sought-after stamp. 2024 Scott US$1000.00 = $1,350.00 $55.00
Canada #65. F/VF centered used example of the 1897 issue $5.00 olive green Jubilee. Indistinct roller cancel, which is fairly light leaving a good impression of the stamp. 2024 Scott US$1,000.00 = $1,350.00 $42.00
Canada #89/378. Hoard of used blocks, mostly 1903-1960 with mix of better and common issues. Noted the 10c Edward VII, 1/2c Quebec, a number of Admirals up to the $1.00 value, 1927 Confederation, Scrolls to 8c, 1932 Wheat overprint, Medallions, 1935 Jubilee, Mufti, Chateau and Destroyer dollars among others. A mix of CDS and roller cancels, the vast majority were properly used in period. To help you offset your cost, there is a bit of duplication that you can sell after taking what interests you. Not often seen much these days, but this is a true older holding, often still in their original packaging from the dealer. Great to break up your collection and add some eye appeal. The catalogue value will also add up here. Estimate = $150.00 $26.00
Canada #98. Very Fine mint Never Hinged block of four of the 1908 issue 2c carmine "Alexandra and Edward" from the Quebec Tercentenary set. Unitrade is $840.00 for a Very Fine mint Never Hinged block. There is a slight natural gum-shift on the left pair of stamps, which does not detract much, mentioned "for the record". A great start to a top-notch mint set of blocks. 2024 Scott Classic $400.00 = $540.00 $0.00
Canada #104/140, MR5. Mint Admirals grouping, which started out to be a specialized collection, but never got up to speed. A total of 19 stamps, 2 coil pairs and 8 blocks. Stamps mounted upside down are hinged and the blocks have a mix of hinged / never hinged stamps. Despite indications from the collector about different printings, shades etc, we will let you make that determination. Centering is mixed, as always. A couple might be regummed, so we are counting the whole lot as the basic stamps with no premium for never hinged. Total 2023 Scott US$1702.00 = $2,297.70 $0.00
Canada #104/140, plus War Tax. Mouthwatering used George V Admiral Assembly of approx. 2200 stamps, all neatly arranged (and many identified as to special types) within a 32-page Unisafe stockbook. A very clean stock of Admirals, including postmark interest, perfins, coils, War Tax and Forgeries (#133 / 140). The owner notes that most stamps are fine or better, including over 100 pairs (counted as singles in the stamp count) and 102 "corner stamps" from the outer tips of the sheet. Very clean material, perfect for the used Admiral collector. Offered as received. Estimate = $250.00 $10.00
Canada #104/184, MR1/MR2a. Specialized offering of used George V Admiral issue blocks. A stunning assembly of 84 Admiral blocks of four, all being different in some aspect (the owner has painstakingly identified all paper / shade types / cancels, inventory sheet included). Of particular note is the high-quality of this offering, which can be tough when assembling a collection of used blocks, with 62 of these blocks having easily identifiable postmarks. Included regular issue (1c to $1.00), War Tax, Part-Perforate and Imperforate issues. Very cautiously catalogued as FINE only by the consignor (while many VF blocks are evident throughout). Owner's total 2024 Unitrade = $1,313.20 $10.00
Canada #104/184, MR1/MR7iii. Specialised used "Shade and Cancel" collection of George V Admiral issues, consisting of 320 stamps (160 selected for shades, 160 selected for cancels), all nearly arranged and identified on 10 Hagner brand stocksheets. An absolutely astounding offering, which represents a true labour of love in assembly, with care and patience used in selecting and identifying each individual stamp. Includes the owner's inventory sheet, which shows each stamp is different in some way, showing how diverse this issue was. A great opportunity for the used Canada / Admiral collector. Estimate = $250.00 $17.00
Canada #125/604. Small but amazing mint coil assortment, with paste-ups, line pairs, phantom cuts and starter tabs. Starts with Admiral 1c and 2c strips of 4 with the centre of the strip containing a paste-up join and a 2c green strip of three. The 2c Scroll coil is a paste-up pair. All three colours of the 2c Arch coils are present in "line" pairs (Unitrade #180i, 181i, 182i), as is the 3c red Medallion (#207i). The 4c dark carmine "War" issue has the scarce Unitrade-listed "repair paste up" variety, the QEII 2c Cameo has a single with a couple of starter tabs attached and there are some QEII 8c caricatures coils with the faint cutting lines. And the rest of the lot is an assortment of KGVI-QEII coil pairs and strips. Most are never hinged, with the occasional amount of minor gum damage. Typical centring for these issues. All on three black stock pages. Estimate = $300.00 $0.00
Canada #141, 142 First Day Covers. Attractive duo of seldom seen 1927 Confederation issue FDC, including the 1c John A. Macdonald and 2c Fathers of Confederation. Both posted at Vancouver BC, postmarked June 29th 1927, one with the "Confederation Pageant Exhibition" slogan cancel, the other with the "Diamond Jubilee" flag / slogan cancel. Interesting to get two different confederation postmarks on a pair of covers to the same addressee in Vancouver. 2024 Unitrade = $300.00 $10.00
Canada #149/159. Mint Never Hinged part set of the 1929-1930 George V Scroll issue (missing only the 10c Mount Hurd and the Parliament dollar), but including the iconic "Bluenose". Fresh, most are reasonably well centered. The 12c has a minor gum spot (probably happened during printing) otherwise the rest have pristine gum. 2023 Scott US$792.00 = $1,069.20 $10.00
Canada #158. Fresh and F/VF mint Never Hinged example of the 1929 issue 50c Bluenose. Canada's best-known stamp, a "must have" item in any self-respecting Canadian collection. 2024 Scott US$425.00 = $573.75 $10.00

Canada #178/183i. Mint Arch coil multiples, with four strips of 4, plus a nice pair of the 3c red. There are three line-pairs of the 1c green, 2c brown and 3c red. Fresh and with above average centering. The 1c green strip of four and the three line-pairs are hinged, the rest are never hinged. 2024 Unitrade = $485.75 $0.00
Canada #190/530. Better than average collection of mint issues (Hinged and Never Hinged) from the 1931 issued 10c Cartier up to the Christmas 1970 issue mounted in clear mounts on quadrilled pages which mimic the format of Minkus pages. Besides a good run of regular issues, there are coil singles and a very nice group of "back of the book" including postage dues and officials. There is a bit of duplication as the collector was attempting to differentiate different printings, paper types etc. (sometimes more successfully than others). The stamps are generally fresh and well centered. What also makes this offering special is that it has more never hinged material than usually seen for collections of this type. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
Canada #199i. Pristine and Fine+ mint upper right corner block of 4 of the 5c dark blue KGV Medallion issue, from plate #1 with the major re-entry at position 10 (upper right stamp). Collecting the different plate numbers and positions of the "War" issue can be a pleasantly rewarding, although challenging task, while many don't catalogue much, there are so many plates numbers to collect, which are not often stocked by dealers. We have catalogued this group as Fine Never Hinged, although there are plenty of VF centered blocks throughout, with values up to $90.00 per plate block. 2024 Unitrade = $693.75 $22.00

The Post Office intended to increase the postal rates from 50c and 88c but changed their minds at the last minute. Somehow a few of these stamps made it onto the market. Oops! A famous modern "administrative" error. Comes with the regularly issued stamps for comparison. 2024 Unitrade = $800.00 $17.00

A wonderfully clean assembly of mint Canada, far newer issued than we usually see. There is a 5c untagged Christmas 1970 (bit of edge damage, but center block is perfect), philatelic sheet of 1970 Expo (regular) and field pane (tagged). The only partial pane is a block of 27 stamps of the 2c Scroll issues, Plate A5. Overall appearance is excellent, but the condition is a bit mixed. Not often seen anymore. Estimate = $180.00 $32.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1974 to 1979. A complete 6 year run of the Unitrade listed Canada Post Annual Collections, from 1974 up to and including 1979 (Unitrade #17 to 22), all full size 8½"x 11" books. The key 1974 album has decently clean covers with the mint stamps in a glassine at the front. A good start to a collection of these popular tomes, with the two scarcest albums taken care of (1974 and 1975). 2024 Unitrade = $520.00 $10.00
Canada - Annual Collections for 1980-1995, 1997, 1999-2002, 2005, 2008. Group of 23 different Unitrade listed Canada Post Annual Collections, covering off all the 1980's, most of the 1990's and into the 2000's. This period was a transitional period for Canada Post Annual Collection, which has the shift from "plastic bag" to "box" packaging, with many of these still in the original Post Office wrap. A nice clean run of these popular collections. Face value alone is $589.20. 2024 Unitrade = $1,535.00 $10.00
Canada - Bankers box contains very eclectic collection balance. Most of the material is Elizabethan including numerous paper and tagging "varieties" or studies - including a bunch of Bileski material in its original packaging. There is a small bundle of 1970 Christmas issues, including various pairs and maybe some other varieties (this material was set aside to be studied later). There is some other higher value material, such as mint sheetlets of the Olympic sculptures. The bottom of the box is lined with Canada Post presentation material, such as year set cards from the 1960’s, a Centennial and Olympic "stamp box" and the numismatic/philatelic sets for both "Loon" and "Moose". Lastly, a fascinating item is a presentation glassine for the 1927 Confederation anniversary set. Estimate = $180.00 $13.00
Canada - Better than normal clear out of used collection bits, stock and duplicates. From the Small Queen era up to the end of the 20th century. There is interesting or better throughout, including QV up to 20c, with a nice used Quebec set and some better Admirals (such as all three imperforate pairs used). There is some precancel potential as well as some re-entries on the QV numerals. There is also a mix of common Elizabethan material and some baggies with old KGVI kiloware. What adds to this lot’s specialness is that this collector was a big fan of readable cancels, so you will find these throughout. The material came from several sources, so expect gaps, overlap and duplication. There is lots to work with here. Estimate = $180.00 $10.00
Canada - Complete booklet wholesale lot doing almost filling a shoebox. Mostly Elizabethan era up to the mid-1990’s but did note a couple back to the "War" issue. Includes Cameo, lots of Centennial and Caricature issues, plus significant numbers from the 1980’s, with some Christmas issues along the way. Many are in unopened post office sets of 10 (going back to 1972). There is some duplication, but we are unaware if any have been checked for Unitrade-listed varieties such as covers, papers, etc., let alone tagging errors. There are some covers with counting bars. A few hundred booklets in total, of which the face value will add up. Good to build a basic collection, or to potentially expand into more specialized areas, while still being on a budget. Overall condition is excellent. Estimate = $200.00 $55.00
Canada - Kiloware Box. 20 lbs on single close-cut paper or off paper, crammed into a banker's box, mostly modern. Looks like about 90% Canada, 10% foreign. Estimate = $120.00 $0.00
Canada - King George V and VI mint plate block accumulation. Includes several from the Arch to the Pictorial issues, an assortment of all three denominations of the 1939 Royal Visit, finishing with mostly 1c-5c War issues. Plate numbers and positions are a bit randomized. There is some duplication. One of 8c orange with a bit of oxidation, otherwise condition is excellent, with the stamps fresh and only a bit of hinging here and there. We don't often see good working lots of 1930’s material. Estimate = $180.00 $22.00
Canada - Late King George VI to pre-1976 Elizabethan mint plate block holding, with several hundred seemingly assorted and somewhat duplicated wholesale group mounted on black pages in a 3-ring Uni-Safe binder. There is a wide assortment of plate numbers, and the overall condition appears to be quite good. A quick check indicates that most if not all are Never Hinged. Includes Suzor-Cote, Olympic Sculptures and $1.00 Notre Dame (matched set of sheetlets), 1972 Geophysics, some 25c Chemical and a single 50c Oil Wells. Among the definitives are lots of Wilding and some Karsh material. Amazing how fast the catalogue value of these lots adds up. Estimate = $200.00 $0.00
Canada - Lunar New Years 1997-2008. Complete run of 12 Canada Post issued Thematic Collections Lunar New Years, all but 1997 are still in the original Post Office packaging. These triple "Joint Issues" packs were issued with Canada, Hong Kong and China issued lunar new years stamps / souvenir sheets for each year. These "Thematic Collections" are listed in the back of Unitrade as collections 7, 78, 85, 91, 98, 108, 115, 122, 136, 143, 148 and 151. Complete runs of these which have not been "3 hole-punched" are getting hard to come by. A nice way to check of the Lunar New Years packs in one go. 2024 Unitrade = $275.00 $10.00
Canada - Lunar New Years Assembly. A collectors accumumulation of mint Never Hinged singles, sheets, souvenir sheets, FDC and complete booklets from the ever-popular Canadian Lunar New Year issues. While there a few of the "first series", the strength lies in the 2nd series, with numeral high-value souvenir sheets (including "transitional" souvenir sheets) and complete booklets. Conservatively valued for the usable postage value only. Total face value = $206.18 $0.00
Canada - Mint mini-hoard of Centennial, Caricature & Landscapes, which was the start of a specialized collection that never seemed to get past the accumulation phase. Singles, field corner and plate blocks, as well as larger pieces, with up to about 100 of a single denomination. Some are sorted, some are loose, some are in the original Post Office packaging, while others are on dealer cards and in envelopes created by the collector. Centennial is up to $1.00 and there are plate blocks of both the $1.00 "Vancouver" and the $2.00 "Quebec". The face value will add up quickly here, and the moderate level of organization should allow you to process this group relatively quickly. Presuming all to be mint never hinged. While there are no coil issues, we did notice some precancels. Estimate = $160.00 $30.00
Canada - Modern Post Office Souvenir Sheet "Packs". An all-different assortment of 20 Canada Post packs from the past ten years. These packages were used for the medium / large format souvenir sheets and miniature panes, with additional advertisement and information on the issue included. While the panes themselves are listed individually in Unitrade, we believe that the pack will likely be listed individually in the future as the push for collecting Canada Post products "as issued" is ever-growing. All issues are "P" (permanent) stamps, with the exception of the $5.00 Toronto Maple Leaf jersey souvenir sheet and elusive $4.00 Bighorn Sheep (one of the toughest to find "modern" regular issues). Conservatively value for the total face value of the sheets. Total face value = $143.76 $65.00
Canada - Modern Used. Selection of 71 different from beginning of COVID period right up to latest summer 2024 issues. Oh so hard to find these used as hardly anybody uses postage stamps any more. Includes the 'flying postal truck' issued only to postal employees. Estimate = $170.00 $26.00
Canada - Postally used souvenir sheet hoard covering 1978-2016, some soaked, some still on piece, but almost all are hand cancelled and there is lots of diversity here. Includes more desirable and higher value items such as some "Star Trek", "Animals", "Lunar New Year" along with Christmas and various commemorative issues. A few larger sized non-souvenir sheets are included such as the $5.00 flag and a block of the $8.00 grizzly. Only the occasional minor fault - not unusual given the size of the items and that they actually travelled through the mail. Missing from most collections. Likely 50 different, with a moderate number of extra duplicates. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00
Canada - Quarterly Pack Bonanza. An all-different assortment of 11 Quarterly Packs, ranging from the 2011-2022, included the 2010 Vancouver Olympics OVPT group of souvenir sheets (not technically a quarterly pack, but same format). These packages represent the easiest way to assemble a mint offering from these periods, with a "one of each" format including the self-adhesive stamps in "die cut" format. The total face value in many of these has increased over the issue price, as the permanent ("P") stamps have seen a rise in postal value. Now that these are listed in the back of the Unitrade catalogue, collectors have had an increased interest in acquiring them for the sake of completion. Conservatively valued for the total original issue price. Total original issue price = $176.03 $11.00
Canada - Royal Themed Offering. A collector's group of stamps, souvenir sheets, booklets and Thematic collections, all geared towards QEII / "Will and Kate" issues. A very clean offering. 2024 Unitrade = $285.50 $0.00
Canada - Star Trek grouping of booklets, souvenir sheet, panes, FDC packs, pre-paid postcards and the seldom seen "stamp and coin set". Included are the 2016 / 2017 panes, 2016 Prestige Booklet, 2017 FDC pack, 2016 prepaid postcard pack (not listed in Unitrade), Lenticular souvenir sheet and the "stamp and coin" Thematic Collection #208. A sought after assembly. 2024 Unitrade (not including the prepaid postcards) = $231.50 $32.00

Estimate = $140.00 $10.00
Canada - Wholesale lot of approximately 300 small-format complete booklets from the late KGVI-era into the early 1990’s, includes a dozen complete sets of 10 covers in their original packaging. There is only a hint of organization here, but we did see a War-era booklet and three of the "Gift" booklets, plus Karsh, Cameo and lots of Centennials. That strength is continued into the Caricature, Flower and Parliament issues. Most are in excellent condition, but a small number have been "exploded". Expect some duplication, but we aren’t sure if there was any attention to printings or papers here. An untouched holding. Estimate = $160.00 $10.00
Canada Cancels - Alberta Territorial Cancels. Group of split ring town cancels on mostly Small Queens, arranged on a duo pages by the previous owner. A tough group to assemble from the earliest days of many of these towns. Estimate = $180.00 $10.00
Canada Cancels - British Columbia Postmarks Collection. An interesting group of 4812 stamps and 475 cut-squares, all with BC postmarks, uniquely laid out on home-made pages within 5 binders. The interesting aspect to this grouping is that the collector arranged these on pages by stamp issue, from Small Queens to the late 1990’s (and including "back of the book"). The strength will be in the 1920-1960 postmarks, but with fair showing of earlier material as well (including 103 on Victorian issues). While a bit hard to picture, we have selected several "sample" pictures. See other lots in this sale for other provinces represented from the same holding. Estimate = $400.00 $32.00

Hundreds of reasonably well-organized cancels on stamp or piece, which won’t take you long to find the gems. The covers are mostly 1960’s-1970s. Most of the cancels found here are no longer in service, and many of the Post Offices are closed. Estimate = $160.00 $10.00
Canada Cancels - Northern (NWT/Yukon) and Maritimes Postmarks Collection. An interesting group of 1832 stamps, all with town postmarks, uniquely laid out on home-made pages within individual binders for each province (Nova Scotia has 2 binders). The interesting aspect to this grouping is that the collector arranged these on pages by stamp issue, from Small Queens to early 2000’s (and including "back of the book"). The strength will be in the 1920-1960 postmarks, but with fair showing of earlier material as well. The breakdown by province is NB (470 stamps), NS (798 stamps), PEI (127 stamps), NFLD (203 stamps, almost all post-confederation), NWT (125 stamps) and Yukon (109 stamps). While a bit hard to picture, we have selected several "sample" pictures. See other lots in this sale for other provinces represented from the same holding. Estimate = $350.00 $22.00

The Small Queens / QV are well represented, as to be expected in contrast to the Western Province offerings. While a bit hard to picture, we have selected several "sample" pictures. See other lots in this sale for other provinces represented from the same holding. Estimate = $650.00 $60.00
Canada Cancels - Outstanding modern New Brunswick cancel collection, with a good mix of about 600 readable cancels on piece and cover. While there are items back to the Admiral era, the strength is between 1990-2013 when six-digit POCON cancels were changing regularly, usually without any notice or warning. There is also a good run of the Pictorial cancels that were widely issued c.2010. All pleasingly mounted on blank pages. Expect a bit of duplication, but the perfect lot for any researcher of modern NB cancellations. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00
Canada Cancels - Quebec Postmarks Collection. An attractive group of 4877 stamps with Quebec postmarks, uniquely laid out on home-made pages within 5 binders. The interesting aspect to this grouping is that the collector arranged these on pages by stamp issue, from Small Queens to the 1980's (there are a couple Large Queens too). The strength will be in the 1920-1960 postmarks, but with fair showing of earlier material as well (including Victorian issues). The strength will be in the 1920-1960 postmarks, but with a good smattering of earlier material as well. While a bit hard to picture, we have selected a couple dozen "sample" pictures. See other lots in this sale for other provinces represented from the same holding. A unique opportunity for the postmark collector. Estimate = $750.00 $22.00

This time being 444 covers / postcards and 582 cancels / pieces PLUS a wealth of local town information and related ephemera, organized by "Provincial Zone" within 8 large binders. A labour of love / lifetime of enjoyment went into creating this collection, which transcends the usual boundaries of stamp / postmark collecting. Most of the material is Elizabethan in era, but earlier material is scattered throughout. The pictures will only tell a portion of the entire story with this one. A wealth of information here, with Post Offices identified as to open/closing dates, "claim to fame" and Historical Data. Often, there are pages created but with no item yet, just awaiting the postmark to be found. A great opportunity, offered intact as received. Estimate = $600.00 $65.00

Great Britain - A 20th century specialized mounted Machin madness (with Castles and £10 Britannia) in black mounts on quadrilled pages. Arranged by set, with penciled notes for date of issue, defining feature with Stanley Gibbons and/or Scott numbers. An exhaustive study from the pre-decimal era up to about 1998. Many pages are twinned, with the first page being mint and the second being a near identically laid out page with matching used stamps. Very complete for the period. Bonus material includes a couple of used booklet panes. The original face value was over £115.00, including about £60 of face value from the Castle and Britannia issues. About 600 stamps. Perfect for starting out, filling holes, or adding to your stock. Estimate = $180.00 $13.00
Great Britain - A partial cure for Machin madness. This collector built a solid starter collection of mint Machins, starting from the sterling-era issues, and progressing up to the late-1990’s including regional issues for Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Organized chronologically showing the wide range of denominations, colours, tagging, papers, printers, perforations, etc. that have always made this issue so challenging. Beautifully mounted and labelled. A few of the earlier are hinged, but the majority are never hinged. Towards the end, some of the issues are used and there are three stock pages with mint and used duplicates (or items that never got around to mounting). Includes some modern "Castles" with face values up to £5. The world’s longest continually running set came to an end with the passing of Queen Elizabeth. Estimate = $180.00 $13.00
Great Britain - Modern selection of 103 different used stamps + 2 used souvenir sheets, 2019 - 2024, just look at rising catalogue values since so few people use stamps any more! 2024 Scott US$332.00 = $448.20 $32.00
Great Britain - Mostly used collection, accumulation or stock in two stockbooks. The first is an older 16-page red KEK with 1957-1980 issues. The second is a blue 32-page Lighthouse stockbook with enough stamps to fill the stockbook, but crammed into half of it, including lots of 1990’s-2010s issues. There are no definitives, but there are a few used booklet panes. Many of the more recent issues include higher value stamps up to £2.50, which are very difficult to find postally used, which are reflected by the Scott catalogue values which often exceed $3.00 a stamp. There are probably a couple of thousand stamps here. Estimate = $180.00 $10.00
Great Britain - Post and Go Stamps. Fabulous USED collection, issued over a dozen years, ending in 2023 this large-scale experiment of colourful printed labels are only listed in Stanley Gibbons. This is a shame, as they are quite attractive and have lots of topical interest and were generally overlooked by collectors during their issue period. These issues had standard printed rates for different classes, weights and destination of mail. This grouping has lots of these, plus the much scarcer "special rates" such as special, oversized, signed for, etc. These are in very clean condition and mounted on up to 10 per page. Total of 124 stamps. A very difficult lot to duplicate. Estimate = $150.00 $36.00
Great Britain - Several pages with a selection of mid-Queen Victoria to King Edward VII, including some official overprints. Nicely mounted with Scott and Stanley Gibbons numbers, along with plate numbers (where relevant). Includes individual items with catalogue values to $250.00, some with very nice cancels and a couple of perfins are noted. Includes the 1883-84 definitives, the Jubilee issue and a nice group of Edwardian issues, including multiple printings. Enormous catalogue value here. A few are faulty, but most appear to be sound. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00

Terrific overall appearance, and most of the mint are hinged. A chance to build a collection and recoup some costs by selling the duplicates. Total 2023 Scott US$495.95 = $669.53 $0.00
South West Africa, South Africa and forerunners - Accumulation on several pages that was starting to get organized, and then wasn’t finished. The disorganized part includes an intriguing manila stock page with mostly Orange River Colony and early South African used issues. This is followed by four pages of South West Africa overprints and some South Africa, up to the War issue and with some semi-postals. Most are in pairs (or trios), most unchecked for printings. There is also a mounted collection on three pages with a mix of mint and used SWA issues. Lots of catalogue value here, plus a chance to dive into the unknown. Estimate = $150.00 $0.00
Spain - Fascinating, partially organized, dealer holding. The first couple of pages are 19th century issues with a bit of back of the book, which are somewhat identified and were catalogued back in 2019 at $1180 (a quick check indicates that it is still probably around $1150.00). There is another couple of black pages plus a manila stock card with an assortment of mint and used, including a few issues into the 20th century. Probably some reprints and forgeries are mixed in here, but also includes a page of mint 1960’s Fernando Po. Estimate = $180.00 $0.00
Swaziland #24/675. VF mint Never Hinged offering of 188 different stamps from the 1937-1997 period, neatly laid out on stockpages and almost all being complete sets. A few thousand stamps here, mostly 20th century offering, with up to about 20 of a type. Well organized and identified by Scott. There is a good mix of definitives and commemoratives, with some early attempts at specialization. The highest catalogue value is probably in the early used semi-postals. One of the volumes is a Stanley Gibbons springback with a selection of 1920’s-1960’s issues with lots of supporting ephemera, such as post cards, labels, maps, etc. Estimate = $150.00 $10.00
Switzerland - Small consignment balance with a mix of mint and used, including sitting and standing Helvetia (#66 is unfortunately trimmed on two sides), and nice back of the book (includes used airmails C3-C12 on regular paper, with some semi-postals and postage dues). 349 Tonga and Niuafo'ou #1177/1179 and 275/286. A wholesale lot of mint never hinged issues from 2012. Tonga has four souvenir sheets (2 each of the Reconstruction and Development issue (with Rotary and Scout imagery) plus the 2 stamp Titanic centenary issue. The Niuafo’ou (often known as "Tin Can Island") issue is the "Butterfly" issue of a dozen denominations, with 10 copies of each - in a block of 4 and a block of 6. The edges indicate the primitive nature of these printings. Expect some minor bends and uneven/hand cutting of the selvedge. These modern issues are often overlooked by collectors due to their enormous face value (this batch would have set you back around C$300.00 at time of issue). 2023 Scott US$611.00 = $824.85 $0.00
Transvaal #136/284. The second half of this collection, mounted on six quadrilled pages. A total of 108 stamps, with a nice mix of mint and used, starting with a nice batch of overprints and values up to 10/-. The KEVII sets are fairly complete, including the £1 #280. There is a bit of duplication, usually where there is both a mint and used example of a stamp. Includes three stamps on piece with Boer War cancels. There are only a couple of reprinted stamps in this group, which are not counted in the total catalogue value. Total 2023 Scott US$680.30 = $918.41 $0.00

Very complete (total catalogue value US$324.25). The St. Helena is from the same collection and in equally nice condition, but just not as valuable (catalogue value $54.10). Generally, there are 1-4 of a type. All mint never hinged. A couple mint have minor storage-related damage, but generally they are in good shape. A few better singles are here and there, such as the $2 Capitol, 30c Columbus used and a mint block of the 1c Kans. overprint. Noted a number of blocks or plate blocks from the 4c era. There is a tin with used "Forever" commemoratives. The mint are sometimes without gum (or regummed) or heavily hinged. There is a bit of back of the book, and some Confederate States (some clear forgeries). From the clear out of a collection. 395 Worldwide Postcards - Dealer Stock "France". A meticulous group of early French postcards, completely filling a dealer show box, with each item individually sleeved. All better material here, and as these are unpriced, it leaves us to believe this was a working stock of material that never got the chance to be offered at a show. Approximately 700 postcards, all appear to be pre-1920 and selected for both quality of card and scene depicted. A wonderful opportunity for any postcard collector / dealer, with six boxes of postcards being offered as individual lots within this sale. Estimate = $400.00 $10.00
Worldwide Postcards - Dealer Stock of "L to N" countries. Well organized and meticulously clean stock of postcards, arranged by country and individually sleeved, filling a dealer show box. Since these cards are not priced, it is believed that they never got the chance to reach any shows and are offered "as received". Includes batches of Luxembourg, Malta, Monte Carlo, Morocco, Mexico, Netherlands (and some "Indies"), New Zealand and Norway. Almost all of the postcards are pre-1920 and make up a truly premium offering (in particular the New Zealand). At least 600 postcards here! Estimate = $350.00 $10.00
Worldwide Postcards - Dealer Stock of "P to S" countries. Wonderfully organized offering of at least 600 postcards, all individually sleeved sorted by country into a dealer show box. While seemingly "show ready", these cards never got the chance to see the stamp show circuit, offered as received by us. Includes sections of Panama, Peru, Papua New Guinea, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, "Railway", "Ships" (the ship section is extensive and is likely 1/3 of the box) and Spain. An excellent opportunity for any postcard collector / show or internet dealer. Estimate = $350.00 $10.00

Worldwide Postcards - WWI Germany at War. Stunning offering of 53 Postcards / RPPC (Real Photo Postcards), showing everything from Trench Warfare, to Soldiers and the Devastation of War. A "cream of the crop" offering, all being premium cards from a retired postcard dealers stock (not having seen the light of day in years). While primarily German, we also noted some British / Canadian material as well. Each item is individually sleeved. Take a good look at the scans to appreciate the high-quality of this group. Retail on these cards would easily be $10-$20 each. Estimate = $200.00 $10.00
