Unduplicatable hoard of over 2000 Tibetan forgeries packed into a medium sized box. From a dealer stock, but includes some album/exhibit pages, dealer pages, a 48 page Lighthouse stockbook and a few scraps of reference and correspondence to help you make sense of this. Includes mint (in singles and sheetlets), used and a dozen covers. Sometimes the stamp is a fake, sometimes it is the cancel, sometimes it’s both! Almost all designs are from the first couple of sets, and the forgeries were produced between the 1920s-early 90s. A fascinating and valuable forgery study, from the estate of renowned Tibet stamp expert Geoffrey Flack. Estimate =
