The 12½c black "SPECIMEN" overprinted proof pair with rare and dramatic plate flaw. A stunning vertical pair mounted on card, showing overprint types B and C se-tenant. The pair is from positions 48 and 58 and shows the most spectacular flaws that occur on this plate. The upper left ornaments are almost completely missing on both proofs.
