First Day Covers / British Columbia Postmarks. An interesting and unusual lot of 353 First Day Covers, dated 2000-2002, each bearing an unusual "modern" illustrated cachet and being cancelled from around the province of BC (in particular Vancouver Island). The postmarks in this group are quite interesting, as the collector made a point of travelling to all-ends of the province to acquire postmarks from as many different BC post offices as he could. A huge variety of postmarks, including many "modern" offices and illustrated postmarks which were often only open or used for a short-period. These are totally unchecked and "one of a kind" as they were made by the collector for his own collection. Estimate =
