First Day Covers. Complete set of the 1946 Peace Issue (#268-273) PLATE BLOCKS on matching "Coat of Arms" cachet covers, sent registered to Montreal. This visually attractive grouping is seldom seen as singles, let-alone plate blocks! A big investment at the time, with $8.08 ($125.50 by the inflation calculator today) spent to create these, purely for collecting purposes.
