For some collectors the best part of using stockbooks is the prerogative to change your mind at the turn of a page. This lovely 64-page Lighthouse stockbook with acetate strips and glassine interleaves and its blue cover is nearly new, housing relatively few stamps. However, when there are stamps, they are generally worth looking out for. It starts with official overprints, including "OHMS" on the Oil Well and "G" on the Fish dollar. There are plate blocks, including some Centennials, then shuffles over to 45c era Christmas and Art stamps and then jumps backwards to a pair of Export dollar plate blocks, and a trio of 20c Quebec Tercentenaries (which have been regummed). There is a nice plate block of 25(!) of the 1934 Cartier, the mysterious page of France that is in most of these albums, with a return to the back of the book (dues and airmails). Finally, we finish with a couple of 2c Admiral booklet panes and a War Tax block (all regummed) and a few mint dollar values (a couple are regummed, the rest hinged). An interested grouping once you can make sense of it. Easily worth the estimated value given. Estimate =
