Eye-catching group of 28 pre-War mint, Never Hinged blocks, arranged in numerical order by Scott. Includes some GeoV "Heads" (5 of the blocks are duplicates), plus the basic Kingford-Smith issue, large Kookaburra and Lyrebirds, the Melbourne issue (both perforations on the 3d), Macarthur, Anzac, GeoV on horse "Anzac" and the perf 11 airmail issue. Generally, very fresh appearance, there are a few with light even toning or couple of tropical spots (almost universally affect the back of the stamps). The C4 has a couple of short perfs, because of such a large perforation on a large stamp (which is why they changed the perf in a subsequent printing). Many of the blocks have light pencil marks with an old catalogue number, or the perforation, which should easily erase. Counted as Never Hinged, but with no premium for imprint or plate blocks in the total catalogue value. 2023 Scott US$2861.00 =
