Pacific Islands that were under Australian or New Zealand’s administration. A sample from several countries, almost all issued in the 20th century. For the "classic" collectors, there is a trio of Lakatoi designs from Papua (catalogues $46.00), and a strip of three 9d "Roos" overprinted "North West Pacific Islands" (#19, never hinged, cat. $52.50). More recent ventures include issues from Samoa, Cook Islands, Norfolk Islands, Cocos (Keeling), Christmas Island, Papua New Guinea, with a number of sheetlets from Nauru, Aitutaki, Niue, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu. A number of the relatively recent issues are either in presentation packs or in their original "new issue" packaging. The pile of mostly mint, Never Hinged material, is a couple of inches deep.
