Complete Mint hinged set of the 1932 "Nomads of the Desert" issue to commemorate the Northwest Scientific Expedition of Sven Hedin. A small amount of these sets were sold at face-value in cities like Peking, with the remainder given to Sven Hedin and sold at $5 (Chinese dollars) by Hedin to finance the expedition.
