Unfinished postage due study of both "purple" and "red" dues. The collector had accumulated material from a wide range of sources (about 90% mint, most Never Hinged), including plate blocks, philatelic and field stock. The first steps had been taken to tentatively identify printings, papers, shades, but it was never completed. A great challenge for the specialist here or the chance for someone to become an expert. Hundreds of stamps, including many "red" postage due plate blocks in their original Post Office packs. As cheapest, the Unitrade would run several hundred dollars. A wonderful lot. Estimate =
