Part 3 of a 21st century matched plate block First Day Covers collection. Post Office fresh collection with approximately 150 Canada Post cacheted standard-sized covers mounted in two pocket "Vario"-brand pages within two Uni-Safe brand 3-ring albums (with matching slipcases). These two volumes run from 2006 to late 2010 and are fairly complete for matched sets of inscription block FDC, only missing the occasional cover. There are also a number of issues represented as single covers when there were no plate blocks (e.g. souvenir sheets, coils, booklets), in which case one example is included. Larger-sized covers for bigger souvenir sheets (e.g. hockey) were not part of this collection. Given the high face values of modern Post Office issues, matched plate blocks aren’t seen very often and most definitely not to this degree of completeness. Unitrade doesn’t price them, but the owner’s original cost for this section approached $650.00 as the blue padded Uni-Safe three-ring binders in matching slipcase and the black stockpages retails about $130.00 plus the Post Office cost of the covers.
