# 459 FORGERIES
|
Ten examples of the 6c orange QEII Centennial issue FORGERIES, all with florescent orange ink and roughly perf 12.5, with a variety of stamp sizes. The top row consists of a mint (Never Hinged) and used example of the smallest size, the middle row contains 2 mint Never Hinged and two used (one of piece) with large margins, the final row consists of a used block of four with a 1971 CDS cancel (town illegible). These forgeries were produced to deceive the Post Office, rather than the collector and are a wonderful addition to any QEII / Canada collection. Estimate =
