# 3/207 plus Back of the Book
|
An extensive, studious collection on black stockpages. "Fiume" overprints on Hungarian stamps includes mint and used examples on the various hand and machine overprints on regular and back of the book issues. The Pictorial issues include a nice mint Hinged set of the April 1919 printing as well as perforation and paper varieties. There is a nice representation of the "Franco" overprints, including mint examples of #66 and #70. The d’Annunzio issue includes mint and used examples, with overprint variants and forgeries. There is good value in the 1921 and 1922 Constituent Assembly offerings, as well as the final commemorative set and its various overprints. Not to be outdone is the "back of the book", with all facets covered to some extent. We are certain that the total catalogue value of this lot is several thousand dollars. Estimate =
