Second World War "blackout" cancels on Vancouver advertising covers. A total of 103 covers, most with commercial corner cards (many of commercial size), a few with pictorial advertising, with almost all having 1944 machine cancels with the "Vancouver" and "B.C." removed from the dater. Lot also comes with some mounted cancels on stamp/piece (includes a number of non-BC cancels) and some photocopies of reference material. Note: although the covers are in a "photo album", a quick check indicates that the covers will come out without any significant harm to their reverse sides. Estimate =
