Revenue collection #1, a 32-page red Lighthouse stockbook with about 800 "General Revenue" stamps issued between 1881-1916. Very pleasantly laid out with different printings differentiated by year, denomination, colour, overprint, perforation, etc. Includes mint, properly used, and some examples of the forged cancels that are regularly found on these early issues. There appears to be some light duplication. Printed in New York, there are also some "Specimen" overprints and imperforate "printers samples". Later issues have a range of control markings/overprints. Follows the 1994 "Olamo" catalogue/checklist, which has lots of detail, but unfortunately no pricing. Seldom seen material. Estimate =
