British Columbia Postal History. A tough to assemble group of 10 different LOWER MAINLAND Post Office split ring cancels 1905-1921 on postcards. Post Offices included are Earls Road 1914, Joyce 1921, View Hill 1916, Cedar Cove 1905, City Heights 1912, Janes Road 1912, East Burnaby 1907, North Vancouver 1907, Vancouver Heights 1914 and Fraser Avenue 1911. Including from the Vancouver area, most of these offices which were originally in smaller suburbs were eventually "swallowed up" by the population expansion of the lower mainland over the past century.
