Classics / Hermes Heads accumulation. Several pages filled with Greek classic stamps, including "Hermes Heads". A wonderful basis for a future study, this accumulated group was put together by a collector from several sources with the idea to eventually do a study on these notoriously "tough" early issues. Lots of upside once identified, but except some faulty and forgeries to be included as well (the latter interesting in their own regard). Comes with a 1965 article "Greece, The First Hermes Head Issues" by Drossos and the 1965 book "The First Athens Issue of the Large Hermes Heads of Greece". Wonderful potential. Estimate =
