A small but historically important archive of 33 photographs (about half are printed on postcard stock), relating to Cecil Tildesley, who served as surveyor's assistant F.E. Devereux (BC Land Surveyor, Victoria) during the 1910/1911 season. Included are images of the engineering party, log building of the Leechtown Station, trestles, Sooke Lake camp, local residents, right-of-way clearing, drilling and work gang.
