British Columbina "Kootenays" Postal History. A duo of "much better than average" BC Post Office cancels from the Kootenay region. Lot includes Wattsburg 1907 split ring on postcard and Carbonado 1906 split ring on incoming Italian cover. Of particular interest is the Carbonado, which is ex. Bill Robinson collection with his pencil notation indicating that he bought it from Fred Eaton in 1981 for $67.50 (online calculator puts that at about $185.00 in today's $$). Estimate =
