Collection in Six Volumes and One Sheet File. Mint and used collection many hundreds of Germany and German Democratic Republic issues, housed in five "SAFE" brand hingeless albums, one binder of Scott pages and one additional large format sheet file. The albums are organized for Germany as 1872-1933, 1933-1945, 1949-1969 and 1964-1986. The German Democratic Republic volumes are 1949-1978 and 1969-1974. The sheet file contains a mix of large multiples from Germany, Berlin and East Germany. While no particularly valuable individual items were seen in the collections, there are some areas (3rd Reich etc) that have enough completion to be useful to the collector wanting to begin building a German area collection, expanding upon the material already present.
