In 1963, there was a temporary shortage of the 5c Internal Revenue stamp lasting four months, during this time the province used locally revalued stamps starting with a manuscript overprint, followed by a conventional printed overprint. This lot includes a never hinged copy of NFR44 and a no gum copy of the manuscript NFR45. Striking appearance.
