Lighthouse album with pages to 1985 (including back of the book) holding at least 2000 stamps, back to 1865. As with most collections, the 19th century issues are mostly used and in very mixed condition, with some nice cork cancels (the mint examples that you see in the photos are reproductions). The Columbus issue goes to the 50c, Trans Mississippi to 10c and Banknote issues to 50c. The used issues are hinged in-place and the mint usually are in collector-added mounts. Noted complete sets of the "Nebr." and "Kans." overprints and the "back of the book" includes C1-C6, C18 "Baby Zep", Q1-Q12, lots of postage dues and 14 "Duck" stamps. Mint and used are mixed throughout. You can’t get these pages anymore, and the binder is a little dinged up, but its original cost would have been substantial. Estimate =
