First Day Covers. "Senate of Canada" or "House of Commons" 1962-1973 special "meter" postmark on illustrated private cachet First Day Covers. An interesting array of 47 covers, each with a private cachet and with "Senate of Canada" / "House of Commons" postmarks (meter). Unusual to see this many on private cachet FDC, as most we have seen have been on blank envelopes (and often larger #10 size). Includes some better issues such as QEII Cameo and Provincial Flowers, with a slight bit of duplication. In addition to the 47 cachet covers is a batch of 26 "House of Commons" #10 size FDC (ranging from 1959 Seaway to 1967 Centennial issues).
