Group of 89 covers and 3 postcards, all with a "ship" theme, being either ships on stamps or (primarily) specially prepared ship carried covers with illustrated cachets. While a mix of the world, there is definitely emphasis on US Navy, UK and Spanish ships. There is particular strength in the US Nuclear powered ship "Savannah" and several US Navy Submarines. One of the most eye-catching items is a hand-painted 1986 German cover carried on the ship "Westerwald". A nice group to research further. Estimate =
