Alberta Post Office Collection. One man's project of collecting images (photographs) of the Post Office, primarily from the 1990's, accompanied by a cover postmarked at the same location. Banker's box containing 7 binders filled with pages, which feature 187 covers and 180 photographs from a wide array of both city and rural Post Offices, neatly arranged by postal code with most pages featuring one cover and one photograph to showcase the Post Office. These were all created as one-of-a-kind items, purely for the collector, who was (whether he realized it or not) preserving the history of the Post Office during that period. A painstaking amount of time and money must have been used to put these together, but as with many collections, it was surely a labour of love! Estimate =
