RPO Railway Post Office Accumulation. An unchecked / unresearched FIRST TIME ON THE MARKET group of 297 RPO / TPO cancels on stamp or piece. Untouched for the past 70 years, these postmarks were put aside by a traditional stamp collector back in the 1950's in an envelope labeled "RPO" presumably as he came across them. To facilitate viewing, we have laid them out over 7 stockpages. Some of the notable items are CPR West of Winnipeg, Eastern Arctic Mail RMS Nascopie and "Vic and Van RPO" 1913 steamship oval postmarks x2. Primarily Western Canadian runs (as the collector was based in Victoria), with the quality of strikes being well above average. Great lot for the RPO hunter. Estimate =
