British Columbia Postal History. Vancouver Area Post Office DUPLEX postmarks 1912-1920. A group of 6 traditionally severely under-appreciated duplex postmarks from Vancouver / Lower Mainland Post Offices. Postmarks included are Collingwood East 1912 / 1920, Marpole 1918, Eburne Station 1913, Edmonds 1914 and Kerrisdale 1914. Many of these duplex postmarks had very limited use, in the short period where the Post Officed retired the split ring or CDS postmark and before they were "gobbled up" into either named or numbered sub-Post Offices of Vancouver.
