ORB Postmarks. Toronto specialized collection of "ORB" postmarks. The "ORB" postmark is a very distinct larger multiple ring CDS postmark, introduced in the 1890's and seen used into the 1950's. Assembled over my years, this lot comprised of 175 covers or postcards and several pieces / stamps. These are primarily all from the Victorian period, including several printed back stationery postcards. The PHSC (Postal History Society of Canada) has a wonderful database of these markings, which are still somewhat readily found in dealer boxes and much cheaper than other distinct postmark types of the period (squared circle, split rings etc).
