British Commonwealth and United States home-made collection. Not your usual child’s pre-1935 scribbler. Highlights include Great Britain (Victorian and Edwardian era issues up to 2/6), Canada (a couple of damaged 10c mint Jubilees, QV numerals to 20c, KEVII to 50c, a mint "type A" lathe work block of 2c+1c War Tax (with some perf separation), GeoV with precancels, postmark interest and a couple of Bluenose issues. There is an appealing group of early Australia and States, including some revenue issues. The group finishes with some 20th century American, mostly cheaper but with a number of precancels noted. Plus, there are other bits and pieces not mentioned here (so take a good look at the photos to get a sense of the lot). Mostly used, and some condition issues. Perfect for the collector who is a bit of a gambler. The catalogue value here is enormous. Estimate =
