Mounted mint and used collection from Queen Victoria up to 1980. Starts off with some assorted stamps, including a couple of attractive blocks with plate number. The King George V has a hit and miss group of common and better singles. The collection gets more complete in the King George VI era, with a few nice used keyplates. The Elizabethan era often has a mint set, followed by a used set on the following page, until about 1976 when the issues are typically mint only (including a couple of souvenir sheets). Overall condition is excellent. The little duplication is probably due to possible shade differences. Mint issues are in black mounts and are never hinged after 1970. Better singles include #125, #125a, #127a (all used) and #162 (both mint and used). Individual catalogue values up to $60.00 a stamp. All in a pair of red Rapkin springback binders.
