Canada Covers

Diverse cover accumulation, starting with an 1867 cover with #17 from Merrickville Ontario to Vermont (roughly opened, but with original letter). British Columbia is well represented with Queen Victoria covers from Kaslo, Nicola Lake. There is a group of split ring, CDS and MOON cancels from a number of closed post offices. Noted an Admiral Registered cover from Venn Sask and a 6c postcard rate to Holland in 1924. There is a bit of postal stationery and an (unfortunately) mack-tacked cover from the 1954 Moose Jaw air crash. And these are just the loose covers. There is a group of mounted material, including a scarce "South Hill" duplex cancel, a CN Steamship cancel from Massett and then an interesting batch of Elizabethan covers which are generally "Water" cards (including several with the better "Post Paid" overprint) or modern POCON canceled covers from the early 1990s. Great for online or show sales. Estimate =
