Part 1: Big Bonkers Bonanza in bag and binders! A leftover lot from an extensive collection, from a collector who liked to buy but has now left it for you to unpack. To say this lot is varied is an understatement. There is a group of manila stockpages with used wholesales stock where we noted 7 used copies of the 50c KEVII, some mint Canada including large blocks of the 3c Cartier and 1927 3c Confederation plus some blocks of King George V to early Elizabethan. There are 9 copies of the unissued $1.00 Labrador (Newfoundland) Cinderella. Used wholesale quantities of better 1930’s-40’s issues (including CE1-CE3) are still in their original packs. Noted about $20.00 in modern face value. If that isn’t odd enough for you, there is a large envelope sent from Ottawa to BC with its original contents (but no letter) with what appear to be the return of several students’ original hand-drawn submissions for possible stamp designs - the Muskox is particularly fascinating, as the stamp wasn’t issued for another 4 years!
