Pair of complementing postal stationery collections. The first collection is Victoria to George VI wrappers, envelopes and postal cards, which are mint, but there are some good used noted. Overall condition is clean, some with interesting corner cards or printed backs. Noted an Inland Revenue official postal band and a bundle of about 75 copies of a mint 1c green George VI wrapper. All are entires, but a few fronts or cut squares are present. The second part is a collection of Elizabethan envelopes, postal cards and aerogrammes, up to the early 1970’s, with Centennial revaluations. About the only non-stationery item here is a soldier’s air letter for Christmas 1944 from Italy (nicely illustrated back showing soldiers in a Jeep), we have never seen a mint copy of this item before. Bit of duplication. The condition is better than average. About 300 different items. Estimate =
