A broken decade’s worth of "CEF" first day cancel in two mostly complete runs with panel #120/231 (1970-1972) and #451/564 (1978-1980), plus some "bonus" panels (different cancels, multiple countries, etc) and a few from Andorra. About 240 panels in total, each with the stamp plus an official first day cancel on a custom designed, thin card, panel, hole punched to fit a specialized "CEF" album (not included). These are works of art and will enhance any French FDC collection. Production for these French language panels was typically between 25,000-34,000 for each issue. The lot includes a few of the original CEF catalogues that were used to entice collectors. Using an online calculator, these panels cost $2.00 - $3.00 each back in the 1970’s, so easily over $500.00 in original cost (1970’s dollars!). Estimate =
