British Columbia Postal History. A remarkable holding of 108 early Victoria BC covers and postcards, with lots of Queen Victoria usages dating back to 1873. Includes outgoing letters (noted a Jenkinson letter to Port Essington), some incoming mail from Great Britain and correspondence with familiar Victorian names (e.g. Helmcken, MacKenzie, Rithet). There are also some interesting rates (noted two different 2c Small Queen drop rates) and usages (including some OHMS). Other appeal could be from the corks, split rings, squared circles, corner cards, telegram, tourism, soldier mail etc. Mixed condition as you would expect. Great eye appeal, and not easy to duplicate. Estimate =
