Wayzata Airmail. Archivally fresh and VF mint block of four (Lightly Hinged on top) of the famous Wayzata airmail. The so-called "Wayzata Airmail" $1.00 stamp was issued in August 1932 to fund an historic flight from Wayzata, Minnesota to England. The flight never took place. This issue is mentioned and priced in a footnote in Scott. Accompanied by a wonderfully decriptive album page, plus another page featuring a single example (and information) of the 1931 "Roessler" 15c Aerial Service "stamp" (not counted in the catalogue value). 2024 Scott US$140.00 =
