Collection / Accumulation of Mint and Used Portuguese East Africa, 1870s-1980s, with roughly 900 stamps, organized chronologically in a stockbook. The lot contains primarily used stamps up to the 1930, with a mix of mint and used material, including some sets, up to the 1980s. We note better representation from Mozambique (roughly 350 stamps from the 1870s to 1980) and Mozambique Company (roughly 250 stamps from the 1890s to 1940), along with representation from Nysaa (including a few mint numbered blocks), Lorenco Marques, and Inhambane. A spot check revealed a few sets and partial sets cataloguing from the $20 to $30 range, leaving better finds to the dedicated collector. A popular collecting area, that would fill some spaces for the worldwide collector. A few small faults with a few of the early stamps, still a nice lot. Estimate =
