Beautiful collection featuring a century of mint and used issues from this former Indian Ocean colony. There is a bit of Victorian and Edwardian material, but the strength is with the King George VI and Elizabethan material, up to 1979. Includes #235-249, the Royal Wedding set, the QEII pictorial issue (missing only a single stamp), plus the nice bird set (regular and overprinted), and most of the sea life issue of 1969, both mint and used. A bonus item is a 1967 10c bird with minor "kiss print" doubling. A bit of worthwhile duplication here, but overall a wonderfully diverse offering. Estimate =
