Attractive collection of used stamps from 1854-1983 in a four-ring Stanley Gibbons album. Has a nice group of Queen Victoria issues which is a bit "hit or miss" at the start but is strong from the 1880’s with denominations to 2/6. The Edward VII is the same, with 10 duplicates all having private perfins. King George V includes numerous Seahorses (up to 10/-), and there are a relatively few items missing to 1983, including a bit of "back of the book" and regional issues. The strength is definitively in the pre-1910 era, as we saw individual stamps which catalogue up to $200.00 each, with some mixed condition. While the album cover is split, it still hold up well and has protected the contents as purposed. Estimate =
