Key Japanese Airmail souvenir sheet of 1929 issued on Communications Commemoration Day and sold only for a week at the Tokyo Philatelic Exhibition. Includes the four original issues of the "Passenger plane over Lake Ashi" and is tied with a red ink cancel. The sheet itself is never hinged, with a bit of minor wrinkling at the bottom, mentioned for the record. It does have a bit of staining that shows through from the back, not entirely sure what it is, as it didn’t disturb the gum. An outstanding piece of Japanese philately. 2023 Scott US$1300.00 =
